Review:

After quite a number of successfull releases on various comps (I'm especially

thinking to Intraferences on Dragon Tales), finally a full album from

Magnetrixx. I'll kill the suspense now, this is in my opinion one of the best

album in the year so far. This is a little similar to the son kite and ticon

sound, so something like trancey progressive smooth minimal ;) A lot of

attention has been paid to details. All the sounds unroll perfectly, with tons

of subtiles changes and additions to the bassline and drums over the time. On

top of it you can hear lots of really slick sounds effects that have a liquid

quality, processed voices, and occasionnal alien synthlines which create

enthralling soundscapes, characteristic of Magnetrixx. Also this is one of the

few albums released recently that I really like to hear from beginning to the

end. Tracks are all in the same style, but they each have a special feeling to

them with distinct and original basslines, and the flow/progression is very

good troughout the whole album, starting quite calmly and building up. I won't

go into a track by track description, because except the first track which is

"only" good, the others are all great. The highlight for me is the title track

Tritschall. So if you like his previously released tracks, or are opened to

the new sound, get this, you won't be disappointed. 9/10 for me.

Extremly good album, one of my favourites this year alongside Absolum and some

others. Perfect beats and great arrangements. Best track of the album is

Tritschall. I give it 8/10.

I totally agree with the above reviewers, this is one of the best of the year,

and its been a good year ( in my opinion at least). Magnetrixx has a very

distinct style, that sounds extremely good on loud system, but that also

sounds good on your walkman. His basslines are very precise and

synthetic-sounding, and they give the tracks a very alien-bouncey and hypnotic

feeling. The percussion is very crisp and lends a lot drive to the tracks, but

it is the use of voice-samples that make Magnetrixx stand out from the rest. I

never heard samples so well incorporated into tracks, they always come at just

the right times and they feel like they are part the whole sound-picture. That

gives all tracks a very subconscious feel, because you hear all these distant

sounding voices lurking between synthetic sounds and explosion-like effects.

Because of that subconscious feel, it might take a couple of listens, but then

you will be hooked for te long run. I played this at parties, heard it at

parties and listened to it at home ( a lot), and it always works. Best track

is the title track Trittschall, but all others are excellent as well. Even

though this realease is definitely on the minimal side, fullon people should

like this, too, because this is highly psychedelic, just in a subconscious

way.(9,5/10)

This sounds like a continuation of Vibration 3, not that i am complaining... i

liked that album, and i the same goes for magnetrix's first album........ the

highlight here is tritschall.,.... gets a bit repetitive at times, but its not

nearly as minimal as some german stuff... very nice morning music as

usual......... peace

This album is the shit. Finnally i got what i search for a long time. Real

minimalism. Wonderful sounds, not so twisted but it got a psychedelic flavour.

It´s great. Buy this if your into artists like, Beat Bizarre, Paste, The

cujorius one and other acts like that. Rate; 9,8/10

Excellent hypnotic stuff - smooth with just enough change ups and progressions

to keep you interested - favourites are 2,4,6,7. I especially like Spazmolyt

for some reason - that floating synth sound makes the whole track for me -

that one would work really well around 3 or 4am - just the right textures for

brainwaves at that hour. 9/10

The sound is put together so nicely and unfolds so well,

it's almost like dreaming awake! Believe me, this is truly an incredible album!

Magnetrixx... yeah, ya gotta love ' em.. Pretty good album here, with some

kicking tracks. Still, this doesn't really get under your skin as some of

their previous singles did. At least not in my opinion. Now take into account

that nearly all tracks sound alike, and then... well.. it's a good album. Not

bad, but not storming either. Could've been better, with some more diversity.

Some of their singles like Digeridoo, Arnhem Land for example sound more

mature and diverse. So I'm guessing a 2nd album from them will be better.

Still, 7,5/10 it deserves...

WWoooWW !! What an amazing album we have here. I didnt like only two tracks, 1

and 6 - the rest is excelent :)

Singularity is minimal, all the time progressive :) Ichneumon is for the

dancefloor, especialy in the night hours; Trittschall is for the morning, with

a powerfull kick and bassline. The rest of the album is good but this three

tracks are my favorites :)
