The first song is immediately boring stuff, typical Sun project style, always the same awfull bassdrums... The Etnica rmx of Tribolus give us back "Equator"-Etnica style, so véry soft morning-Trance, also the song is changed that much that it's hard to call it a RMX, only a few Tribolus sounds are left... After that the best song of this arrives, a véry spacy rmx of Spaceships & Spacepeople by Electric Universe!! He made of the ultimate night track the ultimate morning-track!! )) The track has a great building up and uses fine 303's and pianos... The only negative point is that the guitar of the original is almost gone (only background-noise...). After that you get 4 terrible songs imo, I don't wanne say much about them, simply (boring) Psy-Tekk (So some of you will like this part...) Then comes the long awaited Space Tribe RMX of Space Dwarfs, and I must say he did a ! great Job... The song became even more Twisted and has not as many ups and downs as the original, altough it's very recogniseable! The last song is also nothing special... Some Tribal effects and once again that typical, boring, Sun project Bassdrum. They have some cool sounds, some guitars (sometimes in excess), but still some musics make you dance. Their live acts are the best. From the ones I have seen (Parasence, WizzyNoise, Bus, Cerebellum, Skazi, Suria, Tim Schuldt, PlastikPark, Bamboo Forest, among many others)) they are the best. That's a live act, plain and simple, a concert played live for the audience and you really enjoy watching them play. Congrats. Be well! This track, for sure, is gonna blow your mind away. One who didn't really pay attension to this one, should give a one more try with loud volume or headphone. IT'S F R E S H and Soooooo BEAUTIFUL!!! Guest diablo_mxmn[at]hotmail[dot]com Posted February 10, 2002 Share Posted February 10, 2002 i love sun project!!! the suburbs (sun project rmx): great brakez!!! great voice sample!!! - 9.2/10 tribolus (etnica rmx): liked the original better - 7.1/10 spaceships & spacepeople (electric universe rmx): great beat, and a heavenly rmx - 9.4/10 slap (original mix): nothing special here - 5.4/10 slap (necton rmx): no imrovement here! - 4.7/10 frisco machines (spirallianz rmx): great opening, great kick drum, great bassline and simply GREAT!!! - 10/10 frisco machines (sun project rmx): not even close to the spirallianz rmx except the great ending after the break - 7.6/10 spaace dwarfs (space tribe rmx): greatest track in the cd, read the review above me... only thing i didnt like is the mastering in this track - 13/10 the saw (sun project rmx): not bad except for the bad mastering - 7.8/10 the whole cd: not bad, listen and decide for yourself... - 6.9/10 yours truely - psychedelic teacher/psy-t Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

While i bought this compl. because of the Space Tribe Rmx. Once of his best tracks, and a much better than the original.
