Review:

OK I bought this comp strictly to get Ephemeral on CD, after having spent hours

of my life listening to it on crappy RealAudio at Flying Rhino's sample site.

The bastards never did put out Wind Chime or Mind Merge on CD either.

GrrRRRrrRRRrr. Also, I had wanted to hear Slick Witch at last, having never

heard it but read a bunch of press a couple of years before (1996 I think it

was released). Well Slick Witch sounds pretty dated now, and the rest of the

record is kind of pointless. Ephemeral kicks ass as well as I remember, but

towards the end of the record before this track Terrestrial Records kind of

gets lost in Jungle-Land. I kind of like the cover art, windblown manga

drawing. 3/10.

I bought this CD because my brother said it was good. He was right. It has

(What's that popular term, again?). Oh yeah, it has "cheddar", it's cool,

it's great. I liked all the tracks on it except the fourth and the fifth

tracks. I have honestly never heard anything better than this compilation

(except for the other Terrestrial Music release before "The Arrival". It

rocks.) If you don't have a copy of any Terrestrial Music CDs, I feel sorry

for you.

I think this CD is great. I love all the tracks except the fourth, fifth and

eighth tracks. Other than that, the whole CD rocks. Pretty much all

Terrestrial Music CDs rock (their is four in all). If you don't own one yet,

I feel sorry for you. I give "The Arrival" a 8/10 for not having 100% of all

the CD good.
