Review:

3D Vision keep doing their thing- full on, full power, on the verge of

aggressive, with a lot of psychedelic scratching stuff inside. Haven't been

listening to this kind of music for a while, and actually I had fun with it- I

did find it hard to listen to the whole CD in one go after the first two times.

Christof, the man himself, opens with Push, which just all I said in the

opening sentence. In one word- relentless. Droidsect (T2) with a bit of a

different angle, driving groove, constant changes, and basically full on

psychedelic chaos, but with the right touches, and never becoming too much,

though walking on the edge. Skazi & Manitu follow (T3)- quite boring till the

break, but than things get much better, and pretty crazy as well. Wizzy are on

the Run (T4), and that run starts too much like Sandman's great ambient piece

Storm Clouds (from Life Is...), and sounds from there are present in different

places around the track- weird. The track itself has no similarity- it has a

pounding technoish beat with huge atmosphere and a lot of breaks, eastern

singing, and a bluesy singer flashing a line that only black women with

enormous hearts can sing, haven't decided yet if it's great, or out of place-

catches your ear- that's for sure. Polaris with a nice track, starting funky

and turning after a frightening break to more dark scratchy full on realms,

only to come back full on and funky. Fun track. The Crucible (T6) is well...

not doing it for me, and I love scratching sounds. Logic Bomb are Frequent

Flyers (T7) for sure, and it feels like they know what are they talking about-

great morning tune that catches your body immediately, sure to fly a party

around- beautiful subtle melodies, and great little sound games always running

in the back. Bamboo Forest popping up again with a more relaxed track,

comparing to the rest of the compilation. They're still doing their thing, and

this is my second favorite here. Nice breaky psychedelic tune, keeping the

power in a subtle level. Ultra are Christof and Dimitri with a more technoish

track, nice breaks and a lot of little rhythm games, open sound (as the sample

suggests) and the right kind of scratches that just do it to me- a real good

surprise for the end of this CD, and my favorite here.

Bottom Line: 3D Vision on the run- doing their things, with some surprises.

Favorites: 2, 4, 5, 7-9.

lady's and gentleman's

there is one big show in this cd

one big drama i might say

one big masterpiece

Droidsect : Invasion From The Outer Space !!!!!!!

the only reason i spend money on this cd

polaris is very nice

absolum a bit more "colored" than the usual absolum style

skazi and manitu ... well without manitu this track was

another more track from skazi factory for fluffy music

ultra is ok , not more than that ...

about the rest???? i dont like! cheesy stuff

BOOM!

More In-Yer-Face minimal/psy fusion from 3Dvision and this time the French pull

out all the stops with 9 fast and furious trax. However, as credible as they

may be nowadays, this is milking the psy cashcow with 9 trax in the same BPM

range and known style rather than giving some fresh impulses for the

psyjunkies that have been overdosed with 3DVision style compils lately.

Nowhere a bad showcase of psychedelica but 3DVision fails to impress me with

the consistent yet unadventurous Sub Science; too much can sometimes be

enough. 6/10

For me this compilation is better than Download and "Program Changes". I really

prefer hearing different artists on the same compil than hearing only

talasmaca and nomad. There's nothing new here, but the tracks are good.

7.5/10, we need more experimental comp, like ultra high frequency

3d vision is rising this year... this cd is very good in my opinion. more

particularly, some songs on this cd are really really good. SO let me talk

about the ones i really liked... Absolum is very fast and furious in typical

christoff 3d vision style.... the real gem though is Droidsect.......

hhrrrrmffff.,.. these guys are good,,, and those of you who have known about

them, will not be surprised by this crazy track... full on, changing, totally

crazy, with lots of breaks in the drum loops, coupled with gms like scratchy

sounds... very very crazy.. this one will kill at parties.. Skazi has got

boring in my mind now, but the track is saved half way when manitu comes in

with his rolly analog synth lines.. typical manitu crazy music.. so the track

comes off pretty well at the end.. this is followed by one of my favorite

groups micky and uriel a.k.a. wizzy... they look to be on the run here, and it

is glad to see that they make a track with a lot of evolution... loved the

indian vocals.... maybe not so much the housey one at the end.. but

nevertheless a good effort, aided by the kicking wizzy bass.. the other two i

liked were definitely more morning tracks. logic bomb, have had a lot of

experience playing at parties.. and i have to say that they deliver a very

very goa morning track... this is a very good thing, since these guys know

what the crowd wants in the morning.... some people who always like different

sounds may not like it, since it sounds like headcleaner,, but with evolutions

i might add.. however in my mind this one is great... awesome playful melodies

in the track to get the hard core ones to dance and enjoy too.. bamboo also

delivers a great track in their own way style... bamboo forest are good, and

this one would be very good in the morning...... all in all 3d vision knows

what is up in the dance floor nowadays and if you are a dj, then make sure you

get this... this is full on party music... going back to the roots with a much

more goa influence... actually the songs here sound a lot like a gil set. i

give it a 8/10. peace

I think 3dvision has kinda lost it's edge here, too much simple stomping in

these trax and only a few minutes of real full-on. I was really dissapointed

by this. Logic Bomb delivers a great track along with TE

Its funny!! The beggining of the traxz i like but after a while its a little

annoying!! Somehow sounds as Skazi Compil. ("Zoo") that come out almost at the

same time!! Too much bpm, IMO.

This CD is up there with the best releases of the year. Great Absolum and

family tracks on here. Along with Cristof you get, Skazi, Droidsect, The

amazing Logic Bomb (My favorite track on the comp), and Bamboo Forrest. This

is a must buy this year. The only track I'm not too fond of is the Wizzy

track. Starts off great and then gets real cheezy and clubby with the singing.

Only blacklisted track. I wish they would have made it the first or last

track, so I wouldn' have to skip it to go to the next one every time I want to

chill and listen to this CD.

I love this comp a whole lot. Push is quite good and the track pushes itself

further and further and u get exhausted listening tu it, but that sound at

2:12, doesn't it remind u of BP Empire? Invasion from other space is also nice

but nothing really happens, ok nice sounds (like mechanical or robots) but no

structure. Track 3, Survive the trip is the best track here, maby one of the

best I have heard. That break and blow at 4:10 is mindblowing! Those synths

are so mean and chaotic! Then we have another supertrack, Wizzy on the run. I

just love Wizzy noise for their hard-stomping techno style with a realy heavy,

metal feeling. (Not heavy-metal...). I am not really found of Serious trouble,

to light and not good in any particular way. The Crucible gets good after

about 5:50 and is from there ok. Normally I love Logic Bomb (Headware = yummy)

But this is not so good. To unstructured and simple. Electrotoy is ok, stompy,

cool and hard. The last track engage is the third best here. Really dark and

with his vibrating bass that I love. The comp gets 8/10 for two killers, one

awsome, two good, two ok, and two not so good.

I'm a quite disapointed with this compilation, lots of tracks look like each

other, there's few personnality.

Nevertheless i found good things in Sub Science as Logic Bomb, the remix of the

crucible and Bamboo Forest. Droidsect have also done interessant production.

rating compilation 5/10

This comp is INCREDIBLE!!! Full-on and unrelenting from start to finish. This

was definitely meant to get the dancefloor moovin'. Very dark and twisted for

most of the album. My favorites are 1,2,5,6,7 and 9. Thats lots of favorites

because its a great comp. It scores a 9/10.

Infuckingcredible. Shazi and Manitu are crazy. By far the best track is Survive

the Trip. Absolum, nuts as usual. The Droidsect track blows my mind. The Wizzy

Noise song is weak. Polaris, Total Eclipse, Bamboo Forest,Logic Bomb, and

Ultra are all party playable. 8/10. 9/10 minus the Wizzy Noise track.
