An exellent new cd from the new king of israeli trance: skazi! very dancefloor

oriented. but i must say i liked the first one better... (something about

those guitars just get's me !!!)

super skazi: S....K.....A.....Z.....I...........S.....K....A...Z.... (you get

the idea..) VERY INTENSE!!! 9.6/10

storm: "what the hell is going on???" how can this dark trance be so

uplifting??? 9.7/10

let's go to mars: nice beat in mars... 9.9/10

passion: one of the best tracks in here 10/10

element: i love the guitars!!! 14/10

alive: my parents definition of noise... :-) 9.6/10

war: reminds me a bit of "chainsaw" 10/10

tune in: great opening and vocoder. exellent melody (if you can call it a

melody) 13.5/10

gtr: 13.7/10

the whole cd: i'm sorry to say this but skazi could have done a better job....

nevertheless it's a good cd if not great (but as i said i prefer the debut

Yeah, after the first album and, more specifically, his tracks of the

*slamming* "Zoo" compilation, I don't need to listen to this to know it ROCKS.

Here's hoping American distributors don't lag on getting this out so I can

buy it already, and not having it shipped 8000 miles from Germany or Hong Kong.

Actually, I have heard some of this...'GTR' was on the Zoo comp (One of the

best tracks) and 'Let's Go to Mars' I heard as a random single... if LGTM is

the track I think it is, it was unexpectedly full-on melodic goa-flashback

style.

Skazi in general won't really 'work' if you're listening at home, but when I

spin his stuff at parties people absoultely lose their shit and freak out.

It's definately focused as DANCE music more than a lot of stuff I've heard in

a while... I've even had a bunch of NRG and Hard-House DJs hear Skazi and ask

"Dude... that was dope... what WAS that?"

Anyway, to everyone who trades MP3's out there, I would definately encourage

you to BUY this one and encourage the new & still relatively unknown Shaffel

records.

street jive for "good") Different than Animal, yet somehow, very similar, but

at least they didn't sample an entire movie this time! I preffer Mariah Carey

Israeli Trance is King!

The Israelis have done it again. In my opinion they are making the best trance

music in the world, hands down. Skazi is the uncrowned king of hard

Psy-trance and I love it!

Animal was the best album, but this one is also very good. Put it on and watch

the dance floor fill up every time. Put it on and try to sit down and be

still. Impossible!

However you did it Skazi, however you were able to make these most incredible

sounds to ever be broadcast to the universe since Atlantis, you have made a

true impact upon the collective consciousness. Great work and keep it up

please!

I am sick of Skazi, and this album does nothing too change my opinion.. he

throws in the same sounds in almost every track,, at times it gets really

crazy, and at those times i enjoy it, like a high oscillating high pitched

distorted melody... but on the whole, i don't find any depth in skazi's

music.... i still bought this album, because so many people at parties are

very responsive to skazi. so as a dj, my job is to make the crowd move, so i

bought it, but personally i don't dig it.. for those who do like it, i guess

it is a difference in taste... peace..

I have a few words: if you're a fan of Skazi, if you liked the previous album

as much as I did, get this at any cost! The album is phenomenal, I can tell

you that!

It's just the same beat and bass over and over again, with different sounds

though .. this is for the people who does'nt know a shit about harmonic sounds

and variations - all I can say is .. 5/10 - no more no less!!

WTF? what kind of a review is that ;-( Its definately for the dance floor...

better to dance to than to listen to.. IMHO ;-) It really rocks (on the dance

floor)

Hehehe....

Yeh this rocks the dancefloor more than animal. But animal was more

interesting. This music is structured like hard house. Starts you off with

some rhythm games, then gets to the punchline WHAMMM, then chills a bit, then

another punchline, then end. While this works fucking well on the dancefloor

(as does hard house, which I have nothing against), it makes for predictable

listening. Gone are the experiments with texture and changes, and in its

place, all bangin. A mixed blessing I guess. But I feel something has

definitely been lost here.

I enjoyed Animal quite a bit, when Skazi's style was still new, especially the

track Animal. Skazi has definately refined his style in this album but i

really dont like where he's going with it. I like the track Alive, just not

the voice sample in the middle ("what time are you planning to take off?"), is

that not the cheesiest thing you've ever heard? And all those voice samples

in quite a few other tracks saying skazi in different ways, like in element

just before the guitar comes in with the kick and bass. Skazi is definately

becoming full of himself, like infected mushroom did in B.P.Empire, but worse,

it took three albums and world-wide "God" status before it happened to them,

this is only Skazi's second album and he hasn't even been around for that

long. In my opinion he's got talent, but he's using it like a wanker!!

OK, it gets annoying if you actually listen to it. Tracks 5, 8 and 9 are not

bad but nowhere _near_ as good as Skazi seems to think they are. Sampling

your name over and over again? Wanker. This ruins an otherwise serviceable

track - which would be forgiveable if there were more keepers on the album.

In general he needs not to sample and loop quotes, this technique was old in

1997 and it's embarrassing now. 4/10, but take heart, this is still the

highest I've ranked an Israeli release in a long time.
