DeathPosture
I don't know the Saiko-Pod track, but "Snowblind" is quite simply an amazing track... One of the best featured on Order Odonata 6! 8/10 for that one!

Guest chris[at]kerb[dot]co[dot]uk
Saiko-Pod / Prometheus - Silent Running / Snowblin Artist: Saiko-Pod / Prometheus Title: Silent Running / Snowblin Label: Dragonfly Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. Saiko-Pod : Silent Running 02. Prometheus : Snowblin Review: Dragonfly seem to have wholeheartedly embraced the whole progressive movement which I find a bit sad, there's plenty of other labels doing it, but then again with Dragonfly you know it's going to be quality whatever it is... This is no expection. I normally veer away from progressive but this was too good to pass up. The Prometheus track is definately the one, a really nice uplifting melody with Benji's usual amazing production - quite in the vein of his recent release Sunspot/Timebandit on Twisted Records. 8/10. I don't like the Saiko-pod side quite as much, it's not a bad tune but I find it a little TOO progressive for my tastes. 6/
Guest Johan, Logic Bomb
Ian Ion is Messiah. It's obvious that Ian & Frank are attempting to move the Saiko-Pod project away from their wellknown psytrance sounds of Koxbox into more club oriented stuff. The track 'Silent Running' might not be one of my favourite psy-pod tracks, but its still an astonishing piece of production. Look out for more similar stuff from these guys, and keep an eye open for their Saiko-Pod version of 'Crunchy Moles'. It's a f*kin' killer. ukiro
I agree with the above, the prometheus track is very, very good indeed. Absolutely beautiful track that makes you wiggle your hips and smile as you keep riding into the sunrise :-) The saiko-pod track doesn't have the atmosphere that "snowblind" does, And I find some of the sounds to be a bit out of place. Still, as Johan point out, it's an amazing production nonetheless. I just don't see myself playing it much. This is very well worth yor pennies for the Prometheus track alone though. ukiro
This is sooo worth it for the prometheus track alone. Wonderfull bassling and brilliant buildups that makes you wiggle your hips and smile at the sunrise. As Johan points out the saiko-pod track is a very nice production indeed and a step in a new direction which is always interesting, but the track just doesn't do it for me. It's the prometheus side of this single that's going to get worn out first.
Guest DJ Psy604
The saiko-pod side is the best for me, it's not so boring as the prometeus. Like Johan said it's really an astonishing piece of production!!!! It's maybe not that what you aspect from psytrance, but it is a bomb. It has nice sounds, good bass-line altough it's not a regular one. For me it's a morning-track. It takes me on journey through a beautiful world. When it's mixed in well, it can take me very high. Nice work. In the beginning the prometheus sound more like easy techno to me, there are techno-similar sounds in the loop. A little bit further there are some nice samples in it, but also a simple melody that sounds very cheesy to me. I just don't like the melody (if you can call it so)of this song. I just feel better with the saiko-pod, so 8/10 for the saiko and 6/10 for the prometheus.

Guest russ
If only Ian and Frank would go back to producing true psychedelic music, like dragon tales, then Ian would be the Messiah. Nobody can touch these guys in terms of production. I just wish they would make some serious mind music again...
Guest DJ Supernova
i really like the saiko-pod track. i like the progressive direction saiko-pod has taken this past year. even though it's progressive, the groove reminds me of old koxbox. it's got that quirky-funky groove that's so infectious. the prometheus track is good, but it ends really sudden, which leaves no space for mixing. not a bad track though, people seem to like it (have heard it at parties). 8/10 for saiko-pod, 7/10 for prometheus
