Guest Stormbringer
Process - Light Through Darkness Artist: Process Title: Light Through Darkness Label: Creamcrop Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'10" Terrorist (Paps Rmx) 02. 08'24" Prismatic 03. 08'58" XI (Tristan Rmx) 04. 05'18" Caner Review: I´m a big fan of the Creamcrop label and I buy all of their releases. So far has everything been good or REALLY good and this release is no exception. "Terrorist" (7/10) was released previously on Creamcrop 004 and can also be found on the Process album from last year. This Papsremix (9/10) is something fresh though and it´s a better version in my opinion, packed with crazy sounds and noises almost like finnish psytrance. If you like Paps you´ll like this track too. "Prismatic" (4/10), also fram last years album, is too repetive in my taste, and it consists mostly of some grinding noises in a way that I just don´t like. "XI" (5/10) is a very early track from Process, now remixed by Tristan, but it isn´t that exciting either. It still sounds very old and nothing in the first half of the track fits the Creamcroplabelsound. The second half is a lot better with more things going on but then it´s too late. "Caner" (7/10) is a really weird track that I think is quite groundbraking but perhaps too fu..ed up? It´s always interesting when someone takes a step forward even though it might not be in the right direction? I don´t like two of the tracks on this ep but it´s a good purchase anyway. Guest [Anonymous]
Caner is great... The rest? Well, paps remix is nice, prismatic is also quite good, but well known from the album, and i didn't like tristan remix at all... 6.5-
