This is totaly great, exactly the way I like to hear it. It is very very dark, and that is what I like nowdays in partys for example, the tracks are highly recommended for you people out there who DJ, real killer tracks to play in partys in my opinion =)) CD 2 is an ambient cd, which I think is brilliant, to combine these two styles in an album is really great. The tracks on cd 2 also very dark though, but very nice to listen to. My personal favoutite track is Diabolika =)) 10/10 to this album !! Guest AlexG Posted November 28, 2000 Share Posted November 28, 2000 in one word, this is repetetive. sure, it is dark, but so what? it always follows the same formula on all tracks: get a nice bassline, then dump a whole bunch of noises on top of it, and you've got yourself a track. the percussion work is nice though, and the album is technically good, but come on, how much of this stuff can we take? everybody and their grandma are doing the same exact thing, and it's really starting to get on my nerves. a little creativity, please, people! had there not been a 100 cds of the same type made before this, i'd have said that it's a good album. but the way things are, this cannot get more than 3/10, maybe 4. more effort next time, please, guys. The sounds seem to have more bite on h2. Even if you don't like this style of trance you are sure to find one track on this that tickles your fancy. Hypnotic basslines and pure minimal sounds. Its deep pushing powerful minimal trance, tracks 1 & 4 have cool guitar stabs in, and caught my attention immediatley as dance floor killers, but the more i listened the more i liked.
