Review:

As the title says, this is a compilation only with guitar tracks, it's a

good idea, I think, to release a whole double CD only with rock trance

on it, though some tracks I don't like that much. First CD starts with

two well-known guitar tracks, a bit old but they do fit very well here.

To come to the hardest one: that's Killer State by Xenomorph, harsh

guitars in the whole track, sometimes it sounds like hardcore metal

when it speeds up. This is more of a joke track than

a proper quality one, and I only play it when I just want to make some

noize, hehe. However the best tracks must be CD1 tracks 1,2,3,8,9 & CD2

tracks 2(yeah!),3,4(don't hear any guitars in

this one). 1,8,9 are also nice tunes, same for Cd1 track 6. At the end

some special words about Akasha Project's Voodoovoice: First of all,

This is not a rock psy track but a tribal one (I think they put it here

because the voice in it sounds a bit like a guitar). And what a damn

good one!! The percussion is close to perfection and together with this,

a shimmering soundscape that appears at about 4:30 minutes creates

such a magical atmosphere, it puts you into trance and I mean REAL

trance, it feels like you're taking part in some Voodoo ritual in a

deep jungle at night under the stars. Just incredible! Get it only for

this trippy masterpiece! And for the cover artwork. It's so funny,

mushrooms & mad little green creatures smashin' some old guitars,

around them loads of crazy flies on hallucinogens.

How can you have a guitar album without any Delta? eg As a child... or the

remix of Johann's Stranded (the ultimate guitar track and a perennial

favourite in Japan). Also Pacemaker by Dodgy Connection.
