Review:

A nice collection of downbeat chill-out tracks. There's something for every

taste here, from Quirk's entertaining, reggae weirdness to Endora's light

ambient with oldschool 808 percussion. Extremely memorable tracks are

"Floating Through The Air On Gossamer Wings", totally dubbed up and Eat

Static's hypnotic "Space Walk" even though it has a rather eerie ending. The

rest of the tracks are very good, they are way above average! A highly

recommended compilation for those chilly sessions... Plur - Psylent Buddhi

This would be a great compilation, except that most of these tracks have already been released!

Can't entirely recommend this, it has some wonderful artists, but feels like a cynical attempt to

get more money out of the collector. So I'll give it a 5/10.

I understand your cynicsism Snow Dog - but the 'excerpts' series on Matsuri

were always intended to be back catalogue or single releases - not everyone

gets to listen to all the singles so I don't mind compilations like that .....

This is not a Chill-out compilation, not even dub. The 1st music is one of the

best i ever heard, tottaly amazing, the 2nd is simply a very funny music, and

all the rest are avarage tunes, with nothing new or good in them. if it wasnt

for the 2 first ones i would say this was a waste of money...
