So, here we go: Track 1: Nice opening Track by this guy (who is quite unknown to me), with a nive groovey feel, bouncy rythem and a soft tuch. It's even a little bit clubby IMO but not too much. Anyway, nothing too special, but still a good track that get's you into the groove of the CD. Track 2: This track is a good track with a simple bassline and minamlistic elements (which i tend to like). At the beginning i thought it was a bit boring, but after a few listening sessions I realized that it developes very nicely and towards the end of the track it gets pretty interesting. Track 3: Now here we have a much darker track with more psychedelic elements. This is really good track - Excellent for scary full-moon nights. Track 4: This is an interesting track. It combines a soft minimaltribal tuch (like in track 1), with dark and psychedelic sounds, all on top of a simple bassline. I like it........... Track 5: An ok track by Necmi (who are these guys). Nothing special here. Just the same old soft, minimalistic, slightly clubby and well produced sound. A bit dissapointing... Track 6: Well, you can't go wrong with Magnetrixx. This is a really good, driving/pumping track that makes me wanna dance. Typical Mangnetrixx sound which always get's me in a good mood. Track 7: For me, this is the low point of the Compilation. I've always liked source unknown but this just doesn't fit in. It has a much harder sound then all the other tracks, and it's kinda boring. It's an ok track on it's own (quite dark and progressive), but it does'nt have the same vibe as the rest of the tracks on this CD. It just doesn't fit in. Track 8: Well, another track by Necmi, and I must say, This Track Rocks! Best track of the CD IMO. It has a pumpming bassline, dark atmosphere, psychedelic elements, tribal elements, electrifying sound and a good production. Excellent Track! Track 9: This track is a good way to end this Comp'. It is also guite dark and pumpming, with some wicked sounds on top to spice it up. But most importantly, this track leaves you with a taste four more... So. This is a very good compilation by tatsu, and it certainley lives up to the standrads set by the two previous Dragon Tales cd's. Minimal lovers, gut this cd and get it now! Best Tracks are 3,4,6,8. If you like the magnetrixx sound you will love this, all very well produced, with anice warm electric feel. The source unknown track is the worst, but still not too bad, and the 2nd necmi track is one of the best tunes in the last year imo. Guest Cujorius One Posted January 22, 2002 Share Posted January 22, 2002 Except for SOURCE UNKNOWN & Orhsten Norrs. i think the tracks are boring, no soul. boring techno shit. not appealing to me at all. all though, Ryan Halifax and the Necmi tracks, there are bass and kick, like there should be,,, but to me it just sounds like they don't know what powerfull tools these are. they just use them in such a boring way. Beg German techno or boring minimal trance. I just expected more. Bed samples and simple bass lines. The first and the last track are just pure shit.
