I usually like Vibrasphere very very much, but the style here is a little bit different, just a little little a bit more "psychedelic-stompin"... not the "vibraspheric-morning-trance" style. Second track lifts this release... this sounds more like the Vibrasphere I like, nice atmospheric morning-stomp allthrough the track, kicking vibrations, actually one of the better ones from them! At the hole, maybe it's good that they explore new sounds(?) but I relly love their "vibraspheric" stuff as on the album. 7/10 (most becouse of "Urban Grace") BOLIBOMPA! Let me first state that I think this is definately the worst release I have yet heard from Vibrasphere. This being said, both tracks are above average (I slightly prefer Airfield) but I was expecting much more after their album Echo, one of my all time favorites. So if you're obsessed with collecting every Vibrasphere single (like me or you just enjoy heavy, atmospheric, but-not-quite-minimal style releases, I'd say pick this one up. 7/10 for any other group, 6/10 for Vibrasphere. The best on ACDC for a long time - right up there with the singles from atmos and noma (ACDC001 and ACDC002). It's not full on or super-trancey, but it's very very tasteful, flowing and well produced. I always feel good when I listen to this EP. "airfield" is the harder side and "urban grace" is the softer side. kinda like "mental mountain" 12", but not as good. vibrasphere is definately my top 5 right now because of their consistency. anyways 7/10 for the release. keep up the great work guys:) bom! I prefer Airfield, killer percussion and that wuommm sound that always comes in. Urban Grace is more chilled, good,too, but tends to get a little boring.
