I personaly don't have this cd... but damn! what an "best of" compilation... all tracks are massive classic goa master pieces... 10/10 to all tracks! If you´re new to this music this might be an great start in your collection, otherwise... if you don't allready own this golden tracks... I suggest you get this comp! But anyways, it's allright that there are back catalouges... - I would not rekon all tracks as 10/10, but this is quality! - Melodic Trance at its best. One of the best moments for the USA and Israelli psychdelic trance scene. This is fantastic sound with great melodies . It's one of the compilation who releases in 1997 in Hypnotic records. In my opinion it's clasical goa trance .First track is one of the best track in Astral Projection discography. Very powerful and energetic like track four Power Source - goaway. Next track is also chilly, hypnotic in great old style from the beggings of goa wave. Another of my favourites is track seven " the sleeper must awake" It's a masterpiece of mfg and astral prijection. MFG with another exclusive track, lovely trance samples. There track always develope like stories and this is no exception, weirdly melogic and quite chilled out I guess. In my opinion is very good CD with lots of very fantastic songs. khogg Posted December 16, 2001 Share Posted December 16, 2001 I used to have this one. There are some classic tracks on it for sure. The best in my opinion are: 1, 3, 5, 7, & 9. Well worth getting if you don't have these songs already. As I recall, the tracks seemed to end rather abruptly and harshly at times on this CD (almost like they had got the tracks from various sources and just thrown them together without doing any work to smooth the transitions out). But maybe that was just my copy. Has anyone else noticed that this CD has a very similar track listing to a compliation called "Israel's Psychedelic Trance Vol 1" on the label Trust in Trance? Nevertheless, this comp kickass! ALALA is one of the first track i really loved in the psychedelic style. A killer!!! THE SLEEPER MUST AWAKE is a good work from AP and MFG. GOAWAY : a big classic , a masterpiece (!!!) and the last track is an amazing track EXPOSE : the best track of Mystica! so, my favorites are "Alala" and "Goaway" but i like all the tracks :-D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
