Review:

the cd starts with a pretty nice track from Unknown Controllers called

"Unknown Control". A real

beautiful track with lovly melodies, drumbeats and very fat basslines. nice

openning.. following

is a track from S-Range called "Kym". starts with a nice funky, fat bassline

after few seconds

and, booom!. the kick is coming, crazy!. very groovy nd still beautiful with a

lot of quality and

kick ass basslines!. really liked this one... follows that, one of my

favorites tracks here, from

ManMadeMan!. a real nice and groovy track with a lot of lovly fx's flying in

the background and a

fat bassline which leads the track all the way!. a lot of quality in this one,

and a very kicking

drumbeat!. Bamboo Forest follows with a real nice track, one of my favorites

here too. great

atmosphere here, pretty happy, kick ass strings leads a kickass bassline. a

real good combination

of modern music and a little oldschool atmosphere (in my opinion) and still

great progressive

beats and drums!. one of the most amazing tracks i've heard this year, i just

cant explain it,

but i like this track a lot!. a real quality track!. following is 4D which are

Grant Collins (aka

Darshan) and James Monro!. these guys brings us crazy sounds and beats, very

fat basslines and a

lot of madness!!. one of my favorites here too. this track was also released

on the 4D (-Sonic

Behaviour One And Two) vinyl which was released this year under flying rhino!.

follows a really

twisted and crazy track from Dragon called Ffuse. a lot of twisted sounds

flying around which

make the atmosphere pretty spooky :). although, it is a really nice track with

kickass drumbeats

and twisted fat basslines which leads all the fx's in the background :).

really fun listening

track!. Bumbling Loons follows with a really interesting track with a lot of

crazy sounds and

beats. pretty nice and groovy tracks in some moments. a real heavy track here.

ending this cd is

a very beautiful track by Bus called Finissimo. which starts like a chillout

track but after a

minute things are getting more groovy. a lot of nice sounds here, with a very

lovly drumbeat, a

real beautiful track. very nice ending. this cd is less minimalistc than i

expected though some

of the tracks are pretty progressive. real good tracks here like the Bamboo

Forest one and

Manmademan, and this ending Bus track is very beautiful too!. enjoy the

journy!. 7/10.

Lovers of AP press back;)))) Heh...really this comp is something that i would

describe Flying Rhino's type of sound in some couple of years...dark,

repetitive weirdo electro sounds, GREAT atmosphere. BUT I find that best way

of listening to this comp is if you play it in the background and doing

something else, cause it can be boring sometimes. anyway...Grade:8.5

...............

Didn't get anything out of it at first, because it seemed a bit minimal, but

then I put it on my walkman and really noticed something. Best track is

Bamboo Forest, which probably wouldn't sound as good at a party because it's

quite bangy so the other sounds would be drowned out.

The best flight since the first ! Not a single bad track here, and as whole it

flows very well. Dark atmosphere with hypnotizing sounds... Best track by

ManMadeMan, stars quite simply and keeps building until the end, amazing. The

Bamboo Forest track is a killer too. Overall 9.2/10

The album is worth just for the Bamboo Forest track... its just soo.. spine

tingingly amazing... and hear it in an outdoor party when the sun is well and

truly up and you will be taken to another world... one of my favorite tracks

of the year... definitely more old school but then thats probably what i like

about it.. the rest of the album is very nice too..

10/10 to bamboo forest , 8/10 the rest.

I concur with Seraphim. Dragon, Bus and S-Range. Atmos apparently put it

together, but what is there to do apart from recent releases? Some Nuns

would've been superb, alas... BTW got this 2nd hand when recently released a

few years back.

Well, this june evening 2003 I've discovered one of the better releases of the

past! And it was still not late for the sound here is pretty original &

adventruous. For now this is the best of Flight series issues which I know of.

I concur with Djonanis (20.06.2000) - only amazing or awesome tracks here at

least, but my own favourites are shifted: its Bamboo Forest, Dragon, Bumbling

Loons & Bus tracks I like the most. But all the others shine on their own way

too - unbelievable set! Tracks 6-8 create a flow so strong it's simply

breathtaking: when the Bus track rolls off I find myself disorientated a bit &

violently happy. To sum it up, skillfull progression of GOA origins - that's

it! Strongly reccomended! 8/10 Tchankov I.V. (civ604@mail.ru)
