Guest Posted October 2, 2005 Share Posted October 2, 2005 hey im having trouble synthesisng a good wind up sound. im after something like a motor engine starting up raising pitch over a couple of bars. the method i have been using is trying different sounds in different instruments using a band pass filter and raising the cutoff with a high resonance while modulating pitch but i just cant get it to sound good. any advice would be greatly appreciated thx in advance look forward to ur response ; nasos Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Digital Psyence Posted October 3, 2005 Share Posted October 3, 2005 Hi, and welcome to the forum What you are looking for is a function called "Portamento" or "Glide" This will make the pitch glide over many bars if u want that.
