Every once in a while an artist comes to redefine the meaning of a musical genre, every once in a while an artist stands out among all the others, every once in a while an artist bypasses our mental security and hacks into the main system,a sabotage at what we already know...

Please welcome Wizzy Noise, the audio wizards from Greece, the intruders responsible for the damage on the left side of your brain, the noise makers that your neighbours hate, the vandals responsible for the fire on the speakers of your soundsystem and the nervous breakdown of your grandmother,Micky Noise and Uriel.

After 6 years in the psychedelic trance scene, countless releases in labels such as Dragonfly Records,Flying Rhino,3D Vision,Digital Structures and Candyflip, four personal albums the last of which released on Spun Records and live perfomances all around the globe Wizzy Noise decided to release their new and most mature album under the joined forces of Exposure Productions and Harmonia Records.

Sabotage Part 1 is the finest blend of music that your ears and brain can taste in our days, psychedelic trance mixes with electro, progressive, techno and even industrial music and results in a magical journey into the unconsciousness full of trippy sounds and images.

Eleven tracks with crystal clear audio production and great innovative ideas all destined for worldwide success both in the club dancefloors and the privacy of your own room.

This milestone album will be released in June and is the second part of the Wizzy Noise trilogy for this year that will be concluded in September with the release of Sabotage Part 2 album. The first part of the trilogy Punk City The Single is already out and hot.

  2. Wizzy Noise never hide that they got influences from Juno Reactor and some other groups from the trance scene, not to mention the influences from the electro scene like Depeche Mode for example.

Overvoltage is a very special track obviously inspired by Juno Reactor but not in any case trying to copy Juno Reactor,i mean i can imagine that it is easy to TRY and copy artists like Astrix and Infected Mushroom (like half of Israel is doing and not only) but copying Juno Reactor doesnt sound like an easy task to me.

By the way the version you hear there is just the soundtrack version, trust me the original one that will be out in September is a tottally new thing and a superb track if you ask me.

All in all saying that Wizzy sound even a little bit like Juno is a big compliment for them i guess.

Their new album Sabotage Part 1 will be out in 2-3 weeks so you can judge on your own whether their music is unique or not :)

  3. Mystica have nothing to do with Holymen.

Mystica were making music before Holymen and his friends and if someone got influenced by this relationship this is Holymen who got influenced by the likes of Mystica,Power Source and more.

  4. Lepton because i really do believe that Pitch In Black was probably their best track and one of my personal favorites ever.

Having released in Starsound at the time i was involved there doesnt really mean nothing for me,except ofcourse if you think that i am trying to promote a cd that was released two years ago...

  5. Psyside is no more.

One member stopped being active in Trance and the other member Jean Luc is doing some music with another guy under their Mastermind project.

By the way for me their best track ever was Pitch In Black that was released in Starsound Records compilation New Directions before couple of years, its actually one of the best and most intelligent tunes i have ever heard.

  6. All tunes made by Green House Effect (Sandman's side project).

His one and only album is one of the best ever released in the trance music scene.

Also forgot to mention all tunes and the one and only album of Blue Planet Corporation a really great artist that didnt got what he really deserved.

  7. Amphiton the owner of Harmonia Records happens to be one of my closest friends and also a partner in my future projects, like the release of Wizzy Noise album and cd single for example,so i happen to own the whole cd for something like a month now.

The cd is already printed and mastered and i guess it will be out this week so your questions will be answered soon.

In any case like i said before the tune is a pure smasher :)

  8. Orion is releasing his new album on Solstice.

Pleiadians are releasing their new album probably on their label Etnicanet.

Electric Universe will release his new album on a Japanese label unless i win the lotto and manage to sign him.

I have the honor of releasing the new Wizzy Noise album.

Shpongle third and final part will also be out.

Transwave might make it till the end of the year.

Silicon Sound will release after the summer his album on Neurobiotics.

Dino Psaras album is ready for Vision Quest.

Federico Baltimore debut album by Dado will be out soon.

Well thats enough for me i guess, after all not many good artists out there anymore,at least in the psy trance scene.

    Now playing The Clash-London Calling.

  9. Well its not easy to sort a collection like mine with more than 2000 pieces.

For the time being i have just seperated my collection in four sections.Psy trance that includes everything to do with psychedelic trance,Electro Section that includes everything that has to do with electronic music from Tiesto Trance to Seb Fontaine Progressive and from Brian Eno Ambient to Kraftwerk Electro,Various Music that includes my favourite artists collection like Depeche Mode,Joy Division,Sting,Santana,Phill Collins,Iron Maiden and everything else that you can imagine from Movies Soundtracks to Classical Music Cd's and from Jazz Music to even The Beattles and America.Last but not least i got a Greek Music section that includes few and carefully selected artists from my country.

Once i move into my new house that is much bigger than the one i am living now i have in mind in making a special place or even room for my music collection with special furniture where i will divide my cd's,for the time being i settle with a little organised chaos hehe.

  10. This cd will be mastered by Jurgen Driessen of the Muttekki Records firm.

And because the name might not say much to many of you i will just mention that Jurgen is responsible for the mastering of the last Marc O Tool album named Tao and is also a producer for labels such as Platipus Records,Virgin Records UK and Substance Records that is a brother label of Ministry Of Sound.

And because someone asked no the Cybermancy album will not be mastered again (probably at least) but this might change till the release date.

Agia Igoumeni the new Wizzy Noise stuff is psychedelic trance with futurustic and electro influences.

Nothing to do with their album on Spun Records both in production quality and ideas ;)
