  1. OK, removed all the sold stuff. So not much left...

VA - Trance Mix 6 (Melodia 1995) 40e (The best in this series! IMO. I think this has the only unmixed CD version of Chakra's - Hallucinator, one of his best tracks...)

VA - Earth Trance (Positiva 1996) 30e (many exclusive tracks like Hallucinogen - Orphic Resonance, MWNN - Osmosis etc)

I'll also trade any of the above for Ominus - Ominus, the digipak version...

Digital Sun - The Spiral of Power (Polytox 1997) 20e (NOT the same as the 2000 Re-Collection from Novatekk!)

    Lumukanda - Araglin (Psy Harmonics 1993) 20e

    Tandu - Multimoods (Phonokol 1997) 20e

VA - 4CD Trance4mations (Rumour 2000) 20e (Old Phantasm Records tracks from before 1998, all tracks _unmixed_ unlike the early Fill Your Head... series!)

VA - Project II Trance (Dragonfly 1993) 20e

Kopfuss Resonator - Spect-@ Module (Nephilim 1998) 15e (Radio was not the only OR first tech release in 1998...)

VA - 2CD - Gaia 1+2 (Gaia Tontraeger 1992) (some of the oldest trance!) 15e

Kingston Wall - The Freakout Remixes (Zen Garden 2000) 10e

Shakta - The Enlightened Ape (Dragonfly 1999) 10e

    SUN Project - Zwork (Novatekk 1999) 10e

VA - A Taste of Trust In Trance (Novatekk 1998) 10e

    VA - Blissful Moments (Tranceform 2003) 10e

    VA - Divi:nations (Tip World 2000) 10e

VA - Forest of The Saints (Avatar 1998) 10e (Goa Gil mix CD)

VA - Movers And Groovers At The Temple of Dawn (Tip World 2000) 10e

VA - Trance de Eivissa (Tip World 1999) 10e

VA - Trance Siberia Express (Purple Legion 1997) 10e (diverse russian electronic music, obscure, nobody on discogs has this??)

VA - Zep Tepi "Uplifting Psychedelic Trance" (Chaos Unlimited 1998) 10e

VA - Feed Your Head (Planet Dog 1994) 8e scratched, I had problems ripping one track!

VA - 2CD The World of Goa Trance (ZYX 1998) 1e

    VA Psychedelic 2000 (1999) 1e (Jake Stephens!) 1e

  2. Now, are you doing this on GNU/Linux?

One of the reasons that make me feel like I have to stick to Windows is that I couldn't find any nice program to make music with in GNU/Linux. Although I'm a little puzzled with the images of the tracker and the... whatever that first screenshot is, I'm interested in this program. I guess I will have to read about it :o

Sadly the Linux port of Psycle is still years ahead I think. And it needs VSTs anyway since the native generators aren't all that great IMO.

It's VST support is OK I think, altough there are many popular VSTs that are not stable. But the new VST host is on the way...

The first screenshot is the generator area where one can freely route audio between different plugins. Just couldn't live without that.

My worst gripes are the still bit flaky VST support and maybe the lack of accuracy because of the quantized note matrix. Aodix has this implemented nicely, absolutely the best tracker sequencer with sub-patterns & such. Too bad it's such a lot of work to migrate between software :/ And I think that in the long run Psycle will see much more developement than Aodix, Arguru has already stated I think that he'll just fix Aodix to a 100% working state and then move on...

Oh, the good parts: F-A-S-T to work around. Great for trance. Modular. Free. Open source. And the most important: I'm used to it!

Actually I'd like to have time to explore EnergyXT more, it seems like such an perfect solution for my purposes. It's so advanced and still ligthweight and cheap too, that using something like Sonar or Cubase after it feels like switching for a SUV after riding a bike :) (hey, the whole program is like a few megabytes, and the developer is CRAZY about adding features to it...)

  3. Quatermass!

I have only two tracks, Beyond Sunrise & Jiva, but these both rock! There's these crazy "talking" legato sounds, I'd love to know what that synth is... That portamento sounds really mad!

    Nasha!!!

I have only _one_ track, Chai Machine from White Rhino, but I looooove this, there are these deeeppp sarangis & stuff all over... This is still one of the few "eastern style" goa tracks that I like, usually the faux eastern scales just sound like shit :P

They have more trax on Cosmic Conspiracy, that 1997 comp... But that's so rare I won't even dream of finding it anywhere ever :/

The whole Japan oldschool is way underappreciated... Tokyo Tekno Tribe 1 is still one of the best old goa comps IMO... But Kuro, Charm & the rest of the lot rarely get the same amount of praise than the brits & rest of euro goazers...

  4. Has somebody heard this album?

I only have three trax as Multiplex from him on CD, but at least they are just fantastic!

I know it's not released, but maybe somebody has it as mp3 or something? Pretty please? ;)

Or maybe even some comments if it's in the same style as the Multiplex stuff... So I know if it's worth investing much effort to find.

  5. Hmm, where is this world going to when Slinky Wizard, Snake Thing & the rest are classified as "unknown"???

Hmm then again, maybe if I listened to trance that was less than 8 years old, I might have perspective :P

But Underhead, yes, definitely underrated, and for some reason didn't appear so often on CD comps either. I just have one EP + a few tracks on CD but they're mostly very very good.

I suppose there would be a lot of great stuff with much cross-over potential to psy territory on Tunnel... Should really try to get my hands on some of those old Tunnel comps. Too bad I've never seen them in mp3 circulation or any used record shops either :/

  6. Tayka-Kim could you help me with making music by telling my how to set the synths or maybe send me some presets and so on because i have trouble with that, not that i have really trouble but the synths just don´t sound well, please telll me which synths sound very well and what should i use for my percussion etc... I don´t know this track but it sounds well and classic.

You just got to try things out and listen to what sounds good. Use presets if it helps you. There's not really any magic trick. Just learn to trust your ears!

  7. Ahh, hmm, looking more carefully at the CD and my 6 yrs old handwriting, yes it's Nice Toy actually. But how come I remember checking Discogs some time ago and not finding this??? Well anyway, good thing this is on CD, gotta try to find that one somewhere...

  8. I'm not so happy with this music that I would feel comfortable requiring people money for listening to it :P (a SUPER big thank you to everybody who has donated so far nonetheless, I'm quite tight with money at the moment and they have been a BIG help...)

And since I'm doing music anyway so much, why hoard it somewhere?? I like to get feedback and know that this music can give people some positive feelings...

So keep downloading, over a 1000 albums were downloaded already in the first 6 days after release, I don't think I could sell even a half of that if I made a proper CD. And making this music and knowing people listen to it are what matters to me :)
