    Forest?

How can you call raving mad psy forest music? When was the last time the forest sounded even slightly similar? Perhaps "troll psy" or something, I don't actually care. But for me Shpongle is forest psy.

    Forest?

It's just pretentious to try and coin a "sound of the forest" - and if you were to go there, it would be AMBIENT! Have you ever been in a forest? Right, no 160-bmp bassdrums there. Just peacefulness.

    Forest?

For the same reason people call some psy "night" - none at all.
  4. Yup. Also the year when Sub Conscious was released. No, it's not.
  5. 2004!
  6. It's from 2004.
  7. Not according to Discogs or the album cover.
  8. Perhaps the second, but on the first every artist collaborated on each track, making it an artist album.
  9. It's been done before, but what the heck. Psychedelic music only, right? 1993: Juno Reactor - Transmissions 1994: Future Sound Of London, The - Lifeforms 1995: The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences 1996: The Mystery Of The Yeti 1 1997: Juno Reactor - Bible Of Dreams 1998: Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? 1999: The Mystery Of The Yeti 2 2000: Juno Reactor - Shango 2001: Steve Roach - Blood Machine (yes, it's psychedelic) 2002: Hallucinogen In Dub 2003: Ott - Blumenkraft 2004: Juno Reactor - Labyrinth 2005 (so far): Shpongle - Nothing Lasts But Nothing Is LOst
  10. Which albums?
  11. So name some of the most innovative and original EDM albums. I'll start with two, of which the former was new and fresh when it came, mostly original, and the second still it: Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? and Steve Roach - Blood Machine You know, the stuff that's unique, or was unique when it was new. I want something fresh.
  12. Shpongle pwns every other release this year, and considering the non-greatness of that CD, that's pretty bad.
  13. I would. But it can't be true anyway, I don't think Twisted are that cheap.
  14. Eh, I doubt it. I don't think they'll force everybody to buy the three albums again. I'm betting it's just a CD with unrl material.
  15. The new Shpongle whatever-it-is will be the best one.
  16. I've emailed twisted asking what exactly it is. Will keep you posted.
  17. Where is the enthusiasm? If this indeed is unreleased tracks, there's bound to be stuff from the Are You Shpongled era on it! Which means it'll be a trip!
  18. Unreleased Shpongle killaaaarghs! *dances around*
  19. The LP with the re-edit is avaible at Twisted still.
  20. http://www.twisted.co.uk/flashindex.html UNRLSD KILLLAARGHS?! Edit: Whatever it is, I'm so buying it.
  21. Not AFAIK.
  22. Redundant if you have the newest album. Mint tunes though.
  23. Yes. Like When Shall I Be free. It's a quality tune, but the creativity and playfulness that I liked with Shpongle are nowhere to be seen.
  24. Oh, Smahuta is great too.
  25. I like them. The main problem for me is the lack of creativity some of the tracks exhibit.
