    If you think Astral Projection has powerful kick then you have a problem with your ears. They could be loud but they sure aren't powerful.

     

    My vote goes to:

    Son Kite - Let Us Be

    Reefer Decree - Paperbox (or was it Dirty Chip)

    I've got no problem with my ears. I do think that the kick drum in "People Can Fly is powerful, fat and loud. It is my opinion.

     

    I've listened to the tracks you mentioned... nothing very intense.

    Check your ears now.

    Ow shit, I'm really sorry, I mixed it up with Mystey Trance for some reason (I only saw the cover very briefly...)

     

    But the description still fits, it's more on the hypnotic-progressive side of early goa trance, with some more "normal trance songs" in between... The second cd is better as the first imo... About the Pleiadians track, it is really good yes, but released elswehere I think (check discogs). Btw; on the cd it is written as Etnica - Nes, not Pleiadians

    I think you were thinking about "Mystical Trance", didn't you ? Both compilations are from Fairway records...

    According to Discogs, "Analogue Step" by Pleiadians was only released on vinyl and in "Trance from Israël" CD. Etnica has its own track called "Nes" (but the right name should be "Full On" according to discogs...).

    I have it, and it is rare (well duh)

     

    About the music, it is very hypnotic trance, no frenetic old school but hypnotic trance before progressive started (we could call this the progressive of early goa), you know, Planet Ben style

     

    but it's nicely mixed with a good flow

    Same question for Etnica "Nes/Full On"... :)

    a letter to 1995...

    Hi,

     

    I discovered goa trance in 1995..what some people called the "golden era" until 1998...with tracks broadcasted on the french radio FG show "Rave Up".... bombastic and killer satudray evening show lead by some of the finest dj's in the genre..

    Anyway..I found back an old tape of this era, for sure 1995 era, and I have identified the marvellous "Le's turn it on" by Doof and some Astral Projection, Prana and The infinity project tunes...

    Now there's one or maybe two more..so I need to put an excerpt of these tracks here ... anyone knows how should I proceed to transform these tape -tunes into MP3's ???

    Moi aussi j'ai découvert la Trance Goa en 1995 grâce aux emissions du samedi soir sur Fun et Skyrock :D ... ahhh le bon vieux son "old school"... :wub:

    J'ai également quelques enregistrements sur cassettes que j'envisage de transformer en mp3.

    the fourt track on 'compilation 2'...  link...

     

    the melodies are 100% pure goatrance... uplifting, melodic and not overloaded at all... the climax of shakta lepton head III pops into my mind listening to this starting at the 1th minuut... the bass line is maybe a little bit direction fullon... espacially at the 4th minute... but the psychedelic sounds are very mistique and goatrance so... I like this track a lot... the climax in the end isn't that good, some nitzhonot influences... but still the climax starting at 1th minuut ^_^

    it's a good start in the right direction  :D

    ROFL!! I saw that on ebay last week.....

     

    Are you joking? Which eBay?

    I have been searching for this CD for a long time and I haven't seen it on eBay (I spend an hour a day searching on eBay.com, .de, ............)

    Let me know what is the item number if you can find it.
