    hey guys some m8 sent me this youtube link saying he thought I liked that kind of music, knowing I like psy. Turned out the track was kind of cool and I'd love to find out what it's called.

     

     

    This is a sample and the sound is far more distinct further into the video, so it should be pretty easy to recognize for someone at least.

    Im going to download some from 1200 mics right now, any specific albums that are good? Though I am going to end up DLing them all :lol:

     

     

     

     

    So the group focuses on guitars? or just that specific track?

    You should get all of 1200 mics album. I can safely say that the majority of their tracks include electric guitar. I especially love rock into the future in the "the time machine" album. :)

     

    DNA has some tracks with electric guitar, some are covers, some are just very awesome tracks. But none the less, if you get kick me up and break out albums you'll be set for a while.

     

    Also this is something many will disagree upon, but regardless, I really think that Lamat and a few of his track are at least a bit electric guitar influenced. Check out this sample of "Lamat - Fenix"

    This is exactly why I dont appreciate people that argue about there being way too many subgenres.. For crying out loud even I get confused when we talk about chill cus there are way too many interpretations of it, yet not all fit into the category. Don't understand what I mean? Ok, I'll explain..

     

    A few days ago I was chilling with ma protoculture having the time of my life.. for that day. Then I ask my mate to send me some good chill/epic stuff. He sends me sphongle among some other great tracks and not that I do not appreciate the music. It's just not what I am looking for. Of course I try to explain this to my friend and he repeats the words "That's not chill dude". Besides, seeing as he doesn't even have half a clue who protoculture is I wouldn't expect much posetive feedback from him. I know that chill is way diffrent than what I was asking for, but when I say chill I dont mean the genre, but rather the style to properly explain the type of music I am requesting. Please do me a favor and listen to Protoculture - Homeworld.. I know his actual music style is Psychadelic Trance, and his songs differ from each other.. But say I want songs that are almost exactly the same style as that one track, what the hell do I ask for?

     

    I just dont know anymore.. But I think this is a case where the songs resemble each other, rather than a certain genre. For example, shitloads of Goa sounds extremely diffrent from each other, yet it's all Goa. Savvy?

     

     

    @damon: Ultimae is almost it. Although all I had time to try out were a few samples, right now. I'll get back to it when I have more time. Do most of his tracks end with a climax of some sort? Then it'd be a perfect purchase. I am very paranoid when it comes to music. I once listened to hardcore and the whole fire department of sweden had to convince me not to jump off a bridge.

    I've recently discovered a cure for my insomnia which involves a lot of good chill.. or at least unique cases.. See PROTOCULTURE isn't exactly what I would call a chill trance artist, though some tracks like for example homeworld really does the trick for me.. Anybody know any similiar tracks to listen to? I like the whole dreamy, epic end of the world in a chilly way kind of music.. If you still dont know what I mean all you need to do is listen to Homeworld by Protoculture.

    Are you serious? I guess. So here goes:

    Stormtroopers are evil. Stormtrooper has two nice chicks. Stormtrooper got chicks because of evilness. Abiaso's custom member title is "Evil pays off".

    I hope that cleared up things a little.

    Stormtroopers have what "two" chicks...? When did any stormtrooper ever get chicks because of evilness? How is an asian woman with a big puppy eye'd face and wearing a santa clause even remotely related to anything you just said?

     

    It's like I try to relate my snowman avatar to the movie "hitch"... hey Will Smith who plays Hitch has probably made a snowman in his life at some point... SEE THE CONNECTION!?!??!

    never seen star wars or just not a fan of the (Asian) ladies?

    Um.... I love Star Wars, and I guess I like asian chicks to a safe and non-lethal degree, however I don't see how the (pardon my french) fuck that has anything to do with your Title and Avatar... let alone combined.

     

    Care to elaborate? I might just be having after-stoned-effects

    True classic, and never get's boring. For me with IM it's always I listen to their albums too much til I get tired of them, but the songs are still good ofc then after maybe 2-4 months I rediscover them and this goes on and on and hopefully it will never stop :)

    Indeed. I love this track and I play it almost EVERY night before I sleep. Infected was the beginning for me so I have some tracks I never grow out of but still get boring when you listen to them 500 times in a row :D

     

    but that's how it is with all music that you like.. you like it too much and for too long but when you dont listen to it for a long time it just gets so much better when you hear it again. :posford:
