  2. Our goal is to compile the sum of all human knowledge into this website. You can help complete this goal by contributing to our community. Psychedelic Traveller is a multilingual, Web-based, free-content project to create a database for the PSY/GOA-trance scene. Our articles provide links to guide the user to related pages with additional information. The aim behind this is to publish a printed magazine from the information which is collected here on the website. The printed magazine and website represent the surprisingly harmonious work of many scattered souls, linked by the desire to share their view about the psychedelic scenes they know best. With the help of our distribution partners, we will be spreading the printed issue out at various festivals, parties, shops and bars throughout the year. Our site is written collaboratively by volunteers from all around the world; you can edit it. You do not need specialized qualifications to contribute, since your primary role is to write articles that cover existing knowledge. This means that people of all ages and cultural and social backgrounds can write Psychedelic Traveller articles. Most of the articles can be edited by anyone with access to the Internet, simply by clicking the edit this page link. You are welcome to add information, cross-references, or citations, as long as you do so within Psychedelic Traveller's editing policies and to an appropriate standard. You don't need to worry about accidentally damaging Psychedelic Traveller when adding or improving information, as other editors are always around to advise or correct obvious errors, and the software is carefully designed to allow easy reversal of editorial mistakes. http://psychedelic-traveller.net
  3. "Psychedelic Traveller" is a free magazine. The magazine and website represent the surprisingly harmonious work of many scattered souls, linked by the desire to share the psychedelic scenes they know best. With the help of our distribution partners, we are spreading them out at various festivals, parties, shops and bars throughout the year. Official release date will be spring 2009. Format: 12 x 12 cm (CD Format) Coverage: 64 Pages + 4 Pages Envelope 35 Country Profiles Print Run: 30 000 Limited Edition: 1 000 with CD The team of the "Psychedelic Traveller" magazine is recruited of the people which have done the "Trancer's Guide To The Galaxy" in the past. Sadly the management of this magazine decided to stop the project due to the difficult economic situation of the trance scene, which in their opinion makes it difficult to finance the project, maybe you have heard about this. The Team, most of the editors, photographers and designer don't agree to that. We think that this magazine has to be alive, as it is our common contribution to the worldwide psytrance scene. We have recalculated the project and found a way to make it possible. We also found a way to recalculate the prices for adverts and we are able to offer them much cheaper than in the past. This is our way to face the difficult economic situation of the trance scene. Both have been contributing to the scene by organizing parties for many years. Promoting the music through a record label seemed like the next logical step. Dropout supports the success of psychedelic trance culture by unearthing mind expanding sights & sounds, and seeking the most innovative doorways to novel realms of being. We promote music & art that clear the mind of the dancer, honoring the true meaning of the word ‘psychedelic'. Our vision embraces healing sound, ecstatic dance, tribal culture, and the unifying of ancient traditions with new emerging technologies. 6. Hello fellow trancers, first of all a big thanks to all of you for your support so far. To find out whether we're doing things right with the magazine, we've put another survey online. We'd be very grateful If you'd share your opinions and of course there are prizes to be won .... As the Trancers Guide to the Galaxy 2007 will be replacing the January mushroom, this issue is a double edition meaning we've had less space for other sections. We'd particularly like to apologise to Acidtest fans as to enjoy reading the complete reviews you'll have to go online. To make up for this we've made our CD subscription offer into a super X-mas Special thanks to friendly support from a few labels. As long as stocks last, you'll now get three CDs with every normal subscription and five with a Trancecard . And while ever more Anne Clark remixes continue to trundle in, you've still got until the 31st December to submit your work. 8. For lots of DJs and producers in our scene, Anne Clark is unlikely to have gone unnoticed so far. With her hits "Sleeper in Metropolis" from 1983 and "Our Darkness" from 1984 she could be described as one of the founders of Electronic Dance Music. To coincide with the start of her German tour we've received brand new material from the legendary English artist for you to remix. Anne Clark and netMusicZone Records have given us individual tracks from the current Floating Stone hit "Dittany" and the vocal track to "Closed Circuits" as wav files. The files can be downloaded from us and then rehashed to your heart's content. As far as the style is concerned there are no rules, it can be full-on psychedelic madness or an acoustic bongo jam, the choice is yours. The jury will be made up of Anne Clark, the mushroom readers ? and Simon Cowell. No, that last one's a lie. The mushroom team will assist with judging your submissions and choosing the best remixes from amongst them. more info @ mushroom magazine
