I must say, after listening to Shulman a lot more, that he is quite good...not so much a Shpongle rip off as he appears to be at first...still not quite as good I'd say but still worth your time I think...

Hmm...maybe take a music class or learn an instrument (maybe bass?) Or: try to experiment... Or just rip-off everyone's favorite constant 16th note bassline... But really: if you have trouble writing a bassline you should learn some other things before producing music I think or we'll just have another Astrix rip off...no offense... Or are you talking about production/engineering wise? That's just mixing/matchng/tweaking basically...try not to over EQ...
