  1. I have the feeling music became really cheap, but still people don't want to buy... why?

simple logic: want to listen to music without paying? turn on your radio, tune into youtube, myvideo, soundcloud, youporn, bandcamp or wherever and stream without any problems. want to have something for ur library? try some filesharing, upload to ur musicbox and listen countless times. there is an incredible amount of good music released legally, for free, creative commons and such. believe me, u will find the most experimental and modern, freaked out music there. wanna pay? well, there's a few questions: wanna digital only? ever tried itunes store? or spotify? there millions of people who go that way nowadays. oh, you want cd's. well, there are millions, really. there are some shops where u can get them, even secondhand. you want obscure music, aha! wellll, then you should check the internet. i'm sure you get everything there, but prices may vary from 5 to 500 euro for a special piece.

what do people think is a fair price for buying a cd these days

simple logic: who buys ur music? mainly collectors who spend money regularly and maybe some folks that chip in maybe once in life, or maybe more often. some time on a festival or they stumble into a music store and were impressed by the cover. looks like that the more or less frequently buying goa collector is ur man. how much money do you want to spend? well, monthly, lets say, 20 or 30 euros. life's pretty expensive, you know, everyone wants money for everything. sometimes it's quite hard, no job, or only few job, but sometimes it's really good. what do u want to buy? you say, u have 30 euros, you can get alot of goa for that, there's hundreds of cd's, some cheaper, some more expensive, some really rare, some really hot. u wanna buy regularly? no problem: u can buy at least 10 cd's per month from now on, new or used, and u won't get all of them in 10 years. believe me, or ask some true collectors, there are hundreds of good cds. and don't forget that every year cum some more. oooh, you don't want to buy only goa? u like cds in general and also want to have some triphop, house, chill, rock, techno, hair, stoner, reggae rap? well, then u can't buy alot of goa. prices are about 10-20 euros per cd. as long as they don't lower the prices u have to stick to the veryveryvery best of the best, and maybe some of the reallyreally goods, and some blind buys are also worthy. listen to it online to get an impression first and then decide: stick to ur style, or try something different, new, contemporary, ... u know what i mean.

oh, and something u should not forget: there's also goa on vinyl. believe me, vinyl is the thing if u want to fully experience ur music. but unfortunately there is no more goa released on them. maybe some of u collectors could help to release the reallyreally best of the genre and the veryvery goods on vinyl again. they would be more expensive but really worth the money if youre a junky...

  2. The Walking On Air track on that album is absolutely awesome. I can'^t remember the rest of the tracks. All I know is they didn^t move me as much as Walking On Air.

If you like organic prog/psy from around that time I can recommend you this sampler: http://www.discogs.com/Various-Lovefield-No-Dream-But-Life/release/201548 It's among the first psy cds I ever bought. Some of the names on it are rather well-known, I still haven't heard much about it on psynews.

yeah, i love most of the free form stuff. brought me into trance, along with spirit zone and insolation. sad that none survived

Oh boy, how I loved the first Shiva Space Compilations. Got me into Goa, amongst others, but had a serious replay value for me. Like this here. Interesting to see that this was a real lovers/haters-release here back then. Impulse Tracker? I thought that the people back then were more open-minded. Yeah, I know, critics were always on the run. Just surprised that the opinions about Erez' early works differ into black and white just like about Putins unselfish Crimea-Help.

Old opinions aside, test the time. For myself, this still stands in the Light. Power, Feeling, Heart, Soul. Recklessness, Easyness, Playfulness. Nostalgia breathes through every track segment - inhale, hold, exhale. Aaaaaaaahh - juicy stuff. Full of great melodies, not too ethnic, pseudo-spiritual seriousness, more easy-going, uplifting nitzo-simplicity with some silly-brilliantly melodic excursions. The breakdowns engaging, smile-inducing, predictable but in-time. The bass, the kicks, some harder, some softer - never sounds polished, sterile, soulless. I seriously want to clap to the music sometimes - and I normally hate hands-in-the-air-clapping.

If you're a Erez-homie or true collector you should own this because the number of releases like this is - I think - quite low. If you can't listen without analyzing, well, the Tracker software might distract you. Me? In Dream's turn now, i have to do some claps...

  6. hi radiboy, nice effort there you made

bout the article: could be better, but that's always the case. but if you want to upgrade it, you could include a few sentences more about the history of the music and the term goatrance itself (rising of the techno/rave-scene, hippie-culture, goa-beaches...). the technical descriptions and the musical impact on the listeners mind could also be more detailed, or let's say more concisely.

as for your writing skills, there's also place for improvement. it's a good read when you get the impression that an author really stands behind the written, and i find that's the case in ur article. but to convince completely, practise ur narrating skills: avoid repetition, sharpen your language, play with words, use descriptive images and so on... and never forget: try to stay objective in an informational script, otherwise make it clearly obvious when u state ur own opinion.

    go on, have fun

  7. hey people, what you think of the following

-if you don't want to rank your vote, every album mentioned gets 5 points. stop the leadership, cut the cake in equal pieces :)

btw, isn't it possible to cancel the deadline? i mean, why shouldn't i change my mind through the years, not to mention that i will listen to countless 2013 albums after the end of March

  8. i don't know most of the stuff Richpa but if you don't want to release a neogoa-only cd but some diverse hooking shit then don't forget to include Cyvernetika's Eclipsis Cycle Mix !! the track speaks for itself, and Cybernetika simply deserves an appearance on a physical format NOW. to calm down the listeners end the journey with Scuba vs Yechidah vs Shpongle and Beyond the illusion of life. i promise you nearly everyone will like that :)

    good luck man

  9. oh man, this is so great

what a start for 2014, this will please all ears for a long time

thank you Ciaran Walsh and Zioneers !!

this is not only a nice collection of some random tracks, this is all written to be released how it's released now. and on top: the perfect ending for a special piece, the title track again. really people, why not release the most unique journey and repeat the main theme? that's how the melodies of Star Wars, Braveheart and Conan the Destroyer survived in our mind! and since i don't have a remote controller, i don't have to skip back to the best track (for now).

get it people, this is a limited piece of plastic, buy it and have a smile

    nothing more to add

  10. since the SNES was my only addiction, mostly the games i played back then
