isnt what music is all about?
I think you just declared yourself ignorant.
-
Murphythecat, you're just a sucker for melodies.
-
Who expected Mendark to do anything even half-decent?
-
Its great, but I like 'Will I Dream During the Process' more because it has a certain melodic touch that's very interesting - plus, its got beautiful track names, which makes some kind of difference to me.
-
DAMN HEIN, its pretty fuckin originally good, finally, one good full-on album!
Hardly full-on though.
-
To the contrary I think you guys are stupid.
How is this good? Please enlighten me. There's a loud dirty beat. All the sounds sound unpolished and noisy from the samples. Maybe it would shake your dancefloors or something but it's got little musical merit beyond that. It sounds like a regression from music 10 years ago tbh.
There are other interesting qualities to music than melodies, this album builds an interesting and beautifully brooding mood with some great energies and funky sound structures. High marks to this very unique release.

I have the 2007 album 'Silence', which I like a lot. It has such amazingly powerful energy, Im not sure that I have heard any release matching it.
-
The Kino Oko EP is super smooth stuff. I particularly like Doggy Bag and Red Rose Flow, the latter has a climax tearfully good, you will scarcely hear anything like it. Check it out.
-
The production/sound quality is nuts, and the album takes an interesting approach to the full-on genré.
-
Please make the FLACs available!
-
When will the FLACs be ready for purchase?
-
For full-on with "hard beats" and "powerful melodies" I would recommend Freaked Frequency - FF Syndrome. (You ARE looking for cheese, right?)
-
Damn, Im bored to hell by Aphex Twin. I just hear stupid melodies and annoying rhythms, but I've probably missed something, since surely all of you people couldn't be wrong
-
Gotta love Bluetech!
-
I like the whole Rebirth album a lot, its very elegant and at times quite subtle.
-
This is one of my favorite morning full-on albums, along with Psydrop - Fantasy Seeds, Intergalactic - The Future and a few others.
As others have pointed out, this is a really smooth release, it never gets annoying, it never gets boring and it never requires a too big part of your concentration, something characteristic for smooth music, I feel.
-
I prefer the original to be honest, the more minimalistic approach of it (compared to this release) lends itself better to the whole celtic-contemplative feel of the album.

I know I plug this all the time, but it's some of the best "chillout" I've ever heard. It's a lot "louder" and more intense than most chill.
Quoted for truth, this album is incredible.
-
I havent felt this stupid listening to music since that fucking Nelly Furtado song about horses made me cry. Great melodies though.
-
Seems like a classic case of people not giving good music a chance. I mean, not liking stuff like Bluetech/Celtic Cross/Ishq, come on, thats just crazy! Even subjectivity has a point of absurdity.

You should get Lime Structure next, for sure. Heard "Manzanilla"? Its pretty nifty.
-
Isshoni Taides - Im very impressed by this song.
-
All three albums by
Haltya
although the first one is the most "soumi" one.
If your looking for more melodic stuff, Aavepyörä - Elektro fluoro punx is great.
For a heavy tint towards the GOA style, try
Torakka - Far Out Express
this album also happens to be one of my favourites all categories included, its really excellent.

The one song I got with him is nizhonot(?), and its one of the worst tune on the compilation (the rest is bad as well).
