Goa is more a specific genre...
Psy is short for psychedelic...
the psychedelic element in music is what I love the most...
be it psy-gressive, psytrance, darkPSY...
its the layering that makes music more psychedelic... goa is definitely psychedelic...
but not all psychedelic is goa....

what I happen to be looking for is KOXBOX on CD...

saiko-pod : magnetic force
(hmm... this would be a good track to convert those into EBM!)
-
listened to that the last time you posted it...
nice tracks selection!
I enjoyed it!
-
I agree!
with so many releases coming out all the time it is insane to check them all out!
maybe for dear poster of this thread the good releases for him are names that he doesn't recognize yet!

Pandoras Box sound like an excerpt from a song by 400 Blows... from 1979....
-

not very live looking...
kinda creepy...
I guess he's trying to make sure everyone knows its prerecorded...
(or drunk.... and caught lip syncing )
-
um... there are alot of mixes that get put up here on psynews...
tracklists are appreciated...
and an idea of what to expect...
add those and you'll find more listeners...
until then...
I won't....
add:
thanks man!
I'll give it a listen tomorrow... going to bed in WAY less that 2.5 hours
-
I wouldn't call that full on... I would call that PSYCHEDELIC trance! screw calling any of the subgenres...
I would d'l it too! add it to my regular puter playlist!
very nice!
on a dance floor the beat alternating left/right might not work so well...
I am not sure about that though...
hmm... lots of climbing without peaking... nice to hear that level of progression... skip the peaks, just groove along....

Live, Live Live or Live Live Live?
in General Psytrance
Posted
well, with non-electronic music I prefer when Isee a band that the versions of songs played live are not the same as the album...
I would prefer that with electronic too..
I know I would never play a song the same twice live if I ever was to perform...
