    I downloaded.. I played and it blasted my arse. Yes my friends this set is not just dark, its killarg dark. It does justice to the title A tribute to killarg

     

    Let me take you thru the tracks

     

    (1) Entropy - Technology

    Starts off with some lady blabbering, in Russian probably. Very sweet vocals. Then some weird noises. That is when you feel like killing yourself.

    (2) Oh screw the tracklist. This set is so mind blowing, that you couldnt care less about the tracklist. It has two shades. The lift off ... and the take off!!! Once he took off, there was no looking back. I played this set to few of my friends here in my uni last nite. Two of them are still missing, one is in hospital in coma.. But the remaining ones really liked it. Oh boy.. the killer fast bassline just forces the poop out of your arse.

     

    Goa Gil and NHJOYENNRO have some serious competition now. I've heard that they are all doing a compilation. May be OD and Quacken could tell us its release date ?

     

    Lets see what our fellow psynewsers have to say about this...

    Well, that's what I responded to and the only thing I can comment on is the acts. I have no clue (but I can take a guess) who's more involved in the Shpongle project, but I can tell you what I thought about their performances and based on that I'd say the divergence in opinions as to who's better, is quite accurate... :P

     

    But nevermind, this was just my point. Feel free to disagree! :)

    Well, you asked a question: why is Posford God and Raja the Devil?

     

    My answer would be what I suggested above. Simon creates fat sets, while Raja doesnt at all (au contraire, mon ami). At least, that's my opinion. If you disagree, you suck. :P

    :P Again you are basing your opinons only on live acts. My question was how involved was Raja in creating the Shpongle magic.

    Even when Raja is rather funny on stage he still might be important for Shpongle and the other projects he is in. None of us is present when Shpongle or 1200 Mics are creating new tracks so we can only guess what his part exactly is.

    Yeah.. I'll start a thread about that too. But I havent heard much of his music, so cant comment. There even was a "I hate Goa gil" thead, if i remember correctly..

    Well you gotta look at it like this.. your not just selling Goa, you selling something about yourself as well. So you need to put the same passion into it.. what mood are your friends currently in.. do they look like they could get down with something chilled, or something hard. Track selection and timing is everything. If that doesnt work santo give me phone numbers, ill take care of the rest. heh  B)

    I've invited my friends to my room many times, offered them free booze, and made them listen to some old school stuff. But they all called me weirdo. :huh:

    I'm the onliest person in my university who listens to psy trance. Sad, I know. :(

    not drunk... am pretty high after having worked 14 days full time with not breaks... tomorrow my shift got cancelled so it's my first day off in 2 weeks... today I worked 10 hours with no break teach people to speak English, including 4 kids classes with 8 kids per class... I'm feeling vaguely insane...

    What I don't like is Raja Ram's flute playing. I just don't hear what everyone things is so good about it. It really sounds amateurish.
