  1. Wow! What a great range of track recommendations. Thank you so much, guys! If there are more, keep them coming.
  2. Sweet, all those tracks are awesome. Thank you so far. What about stuff that just has a hindu "feel" to it. Tablas, citars, that kind of thing. I don't want to stop at tracks that *just* have hindu vocal samples. As long as it has a hindu instrumental feel, that's good too. Anything like that you guys know of?
  3. Can you guys give me your recommendations for psy trance that's got a hindu/indian theme to it? Good examples are Androcell for downtempo, and Khetzal for more energetic. In fact, Khetzal's "Corolle" is a great example of an indian themed psy record. Do you guys have any more? Compilations are fine, single tracks are also good but full albums are preferred. Thank you!
  4. I have a copy of the Pleiadians' I.F.O. and would like to trade it for Hunab Ku's Magik Universe.
  5. Haven't heard of this one either. Will go listen to some samples. Thanks!
  6. I like Sky Input, I really do. There's just this... hard to describe, almost like another level that some albums get for me. It's almost euphoric listening to DMT Cowboys. Haven't heard of either! Going to go check those out now. Thank you!
  7. Ra's 9th didn't catch me so much after I got it. I completely agree that it is very well centered upon a theme, and it executes that theme very well. It's a good record, but it didn't give me that special feeling in my mind. I agree about Filteria, and have bought his first and latest records. The first would have to be the best of the two. I haven't heard Heliopolis. Again, I like the album, but it didn't cut the final red line. I'm looking into this Hunab Ku album. Looks strange and extremely rare. I just talked to a guy who said he had it, and it apparently sold for 225 Euro. Yikes! Thank you all for the recommendations. If you have any more, please share!
  8. Hi. I absolutely love full-on melodic psy, but I've noticed a pattern. It's not just about fantastic melodies, it's also about the placement and the overall harmony of the piece. Here are perhaps my four most beloved records ever: * Chromosome - DMT Cowboys * Artax - 8 Bits of Bliss * Pleiadians - I.F.O. * Nystagmus - The Immaculate Perception If you take a listen to each one, they don't have that generic psy feel that a lot of modern productions have, even though they're fully still within the realms of psy and are therefore classified as such. These albums are just 'different'. They break moulds; for me, anyway. So, in essence, what I'm asking for is not more of the same, but something that's very different. This is kind of like saying "I want something, but I don't know what I want.". Granted. Still, if you get my drift, or roundabouts, anyway, share your thoughts.
  9. This is an Oh-My-God track, for me. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CICoQtAbqKY
  10. Yay! Go the best-of thread! I'm very interested in seeing one.
  11. This is a remix album of DMT Cowboys. It supposedly came out in 2010, but I have never seen it on sale. If you have it, let me know.
  12. Joseph is a trooper. I have purchased one record from him, and his communication and due conduct was excellent. Truly, a great seller. Good on you, mate.
  13. I've listened to all the Infected Mushrooms, they're ok, but stylistically I think they're different. I mean this in the sense that IM and Talpa are much further apart than Nystagmus and Talpa. I'm still looking for the Intriga track.
  14. Greetings, I would like some of your input on artists that have a certain style. A year ago I first laid my hands on "Talpa - The art of being non", that album flabberghasted me...I was in shock of how good it was. I'd never heard such beautifully melodic psy before. I hammered that album, I've listened to it more than I care to mention. I then set out to find more and found "Nystagmus - The Immaculate perception", and "Planum - Elaborate"...both brilliant albums with so much feist and flare. That was 6 months ago, I searched long and hard after I had auditioned both of these classics to death. Only a month ago I found something...grand! "The Misted Muppet - From the legend", I love that album to bits and have listened enough times to remember the whole thing. Once again I find myself on the brink of what I can imagine will be a long search before I turn up any new music of the sort. What can i say, i'm a sucker for melody. There's nothing more I love in music than the feeling induced by a perfect harmony with a wicked melody, i live for it. My question is obvious, can anyone recommend an artist, an album (prefferable not a compilation) that is in a similar melodic style? Cheers.
