7. dear friends,

xerxesmusic.com (where my old site was hosted) was lost due to a few idiotic mistakes.. so i have moved and redesigned my site. you find it here:

    http://www.xerxes-music.com

very simple design, but i think its easy to navigate. you will also find A LOT of free downloadable music there. so please let me know what you think

note: IE (ofcourse) makes a few mistakes showing the ambient portion of the download section. the scroller looks a little weird. other than this all should be good. looks beste with firefox. if someone should test it with opera 9, let me know too.

    much respect and love,

    xerxes

  8. dude am listening some of your (very promising i must say) tunes i dag up in my pc..  must have got them from your website long ago (n/p cell progression). and i was wondering how come i havent seen an album yet.

turns out you re going for a second one . wasnt paying enough attention i think.. wont happen again  :)

    keep it up ; )

    552465

the entire album (minus the 12 minute long bonus track and minus studio mixing/mastering) is available for free on my download site. its called xerxes-the_mirror_formula.mp3 (i think hehe)..

    xerxesmusic.tz4.com (download site)

album sold out really fast as it was only a 300 copy limited edition. less than a month and it was gone. hopefully next one will be a bigger release with more distribution etc.

thank you for your kind words, and keep listening :)

    much respect,

    .x

  9. Count for me the new Xerxes album "The Mirror Formula" also!

very good and profesional work with many inspirations from my best label "

    ultimae"! i love this sound!

    Keep going Xerxes!

    Cheers :)

    551505

    you are too kind! *blush*'

my next album due in a year or so will be even closer to the ultimae sound.. in the mean time, expect a few tunes from me on various VAs and also free ones coming on my website very soon.

once again, much gratitude for the inspirational words.

    respectfully,

    .x

  10. Well, thankfully this is somewhat unique. I've never heard anything like that before and don't want to ever again.

    543546

after seeing it, i totally agree with you. if IM served me that live, i would seriously never listen to them again.

  11. Are they really world famous? I've never spoken to anyone who knew Infected Mushroom.

Releasing an album on 6/6/6 is just sad. How many heavy metal bands did this? Least scary music EVER!

    543316

well, lets just say they are one of the biggest in the genre.. world fame like robbie williams is ofcourse overstating it a bit :)

    A chilled day  :)

awesome selections! most of those are shoe-ins for chillout.. but the dummy CD is also quite a gem for this..

  13. i still like'em.. i think they have a unique sound. it is funny how people seem to dislike anyone who gets "too big".. i kinda understand. when you like an underground group/artist - you sort of have this "ownership" to them. but as soon as they get world fame, you lose that.

but their music is still good. no doubt about it.

  14. I remember once when I was studying and got tired of rather emotional and harder music, I played Xerxes to chill and study normally

    542968

lovely :) thank you for listening my friend!

lately i've been listening to a lot of solar fields. he really has got a unique sound and one that really trips me out. latest bluetech is a gem too ofcourse. and gaudi+testa continuum album is wonderful. so much goody out there :)
