I agree, even with headphones and homespeakers you can damage your ears.

I see, but to damage your ears it takes a lot more than listening loud for two hours a day from small home spakers. You have to listen to very loud soundsystems in order to damage your ears seriously. When I was at a party, the volume was so loud that after one hour I really felt pain while listening to the music. Usually the ears block the sound when it get´s too loud and you percept a lower volume, but that system was so loud that the sound passed through that and was still just as loud. After one hour I could not stand it and went out, even tough the music was nice. A homesetup is no comparison to that.
But anywa after one or two hours of loud music it is enough and I stop the music playback because I feel exhausted. I can continue several hours after the loud playback.

ravenation, you can´t be serious that the shown speakers are so loud that they can damage your ears. The volume on a party is 10 times higher than that.

It is not possible to set my speakers for a stereo triangle because they would be 20 cm away from my ears and that would be too close. The speakers are designed as computerspeakers I think, but I prefer the sound to fill all of the room. If I want to experience the stereoeffect, I sit in the middle of the system on a chair.

I suggest not to do it at all unless you wanna risk fucking up your hearing on the long term. I speak from experience. It's not worth it.
So many people listen very loud regurarely and have good hearing. If you don´t go too often to parties where the volume is so loud that even I go out after half an hour, it is ok I think.

Do you enjoy loud music played for many hours? I do enjoy it and I sometimes play music pretty loud for many hours because I think that that is the real thing to hear all sounds of a track and get a great impression about an album. The dynamics are better ´when the music is playing on high volumes. When the naighbours are out I can listen to music very loud and even if they are here the house is insolated pretty well and I can still play music fairly loud. The mood rises when music plays on higher volume. Sometimes I turn the volume to maximum of what my small speakers are capable and it is really loud in my small room. I showed a video of the speakers in this forum. If anyone wants to watch it I will link it here. What is your opinion on loud music, if it is not too loud so it hurts the ears?
I think music is loud enough when you can feel some of the bass on your body, but it is too loud when you have to cry or when your ears get hurt by the high frequencies. I think the volume of some small club café´s is the right volume for music, you can talk to people and the music has a perfect volume to hear all of the details, yet it is not loud enough to hurt your ears even after a few hours.

On the playlist that was playing by random I found a track by Aural Planet that is a very nice ambient track. The track is called Sunfruits Avenue and is very good. Are other tracks by that band similar in sound? In my opnion it is nice electronic sounding ambient.

The only problem with old Man with no Name tracks is that the mixing and masterping is not the best due to the technology back in 199 and 1994. I would love to hear old Man with no Name tracsk remastered with more powerful mastering so that the dynamics are better and the music sounds better when played loud.

I think all of those tracks are masterpeaces, because Man with no Name has many more tracks that are just a littlee bit weaker than the tracks in that list. For example Greece 2000 - Three drives or Paralell Universe or Neuro Tunnel or Lion King. In comparison with other artists Man with no Name has a high percentage of good tracks while many other respected artists only have one good album out of three. This just shows how talented Martin Freelnad is. Otherwise he wouldn´t had produced as many chartstormers as he did.

As if those are the only important tracks by Man with no Name. I guess you would have listed those and dismissed many of the tracks I included. By the way I was never really amazed by the normal Teleport, only by the Teleport remix. Sugerrush is impressive ineed.

All this tracks in my opinion are masterpeaces and some of the best goa trance tracks, even tough some tracks contain some eurotrance elements. But Martin Freeland was not the only artist who included such elements in his tracks. Many big artists included eurotrance elements in their tracks and I think they sound very good. The question however is, are those elements like in Own the World, eurotrance elements or not? In my opnion just the scale is different to the normal goa trance scale but this doesn´t make the tracks sound like eurotrance in my opinion.

It is absolutely hilaruiosu how people here list tracks that tehmselfes are named after some girls ro woman. As if the name of a track has anything to do with the sound. Seriously, how many tracks match the title musically so that the name can be a reference of the music? I don´t know many tracks that do, Let´s just look at Astral Projection - Utopia. That is such a meaningless name, only suggesting that the track can be positive. Utopia is indeet positive in sound but it could sound much different and the title would still be vaild. Another track with a strange name is Pleiadians - Time Dilation. When I read Time dilation I expect a track to have sciense fiction sounds and effets of time dilation, which it doesn´t. The track Time Dilation is yet another example of a track that could have a very different name. There are so many other tracks like that so the name doesn´t have a lot to do with the sound of the track. I aktually think that people here are affraid of negative commends and only post tracks which have an appropriate name because they are afraid that other tracks could make them look strange. Therefore they post tracks that have something to do with love or women.
For me it is very different. I see more in a girl and think that if a girl is beautiful or has a great character, it can be described with any track that one finds apporpriate. Thin girls for example do look a bit aliens or figures, just as thin people in general, because you can see the body and bone structure better, so they match goa trance in my opinion. But not only thin girls. But in general any g human being or animal can be described with a song. So I really don´t see why a song has to have a tilte that has something in common with love or with sex or women in general, in order to fit a girl. That doesn´t make any sence at all.

I want to see what emotions people will choose because I never understood that a track like Doubel Gragons by Doof can be happy for example. Now there are some members who voted the track tobe sad, melancholic and aggressive, just the same as me. So at least there are some people who aktually label Double Dragons as a melancholic track and Kabalah as an energetic trck while they label Time Dilation by Pleiadians as a track they recieve love from. so I am not alone and my feelings aren´t very different to the ones of other users.

For me goa trance is music that I connect to girls and emotions. A friend of mine said tht goa is music for the soul, and I don´t connect girls to sex and erotic neccesarily. I connect some girls with love and energy without thinking about sex. Certain very attractive girls awake a feeling of protection in me and, because they look innocent. That is why I connect them to the music I listed. It is great to listen to goa trance after seeing an impressive girl you like or love; goa trance supports your feelings for the girl and enhances them. However girls are not the main reason why I listen to goa trance. I connect goa trance to nature, space and other planets, but goa trance enhances my feelings for anything I feel. Just like Boris Blenn, I see Goa Trance as a "source of Emotion2.

So in this thread I want to see what emotions people feel when listening to different music. There is a lot of difference in how we see music because when some people talk about dark music, they mean something completely different than other people. The same applies for melancholic, ephoric, energetic, happy or mystic music. In this pool everyone can choose the emotions he feels to the listed tracks so we can see what people feel when listeing to certain music.
Would be great if some more tracks coudl be included, but that is not possible in this pool, unfortunately.

Maybe this is a silly thread, but since there is no such thread I would like to open one with this topic. My question is, imagine an impressive girl or woman that exactly fits your taste. If you would listen a song that is similar to that girl or wman, which track would it be? I am very cruious about your answers because older members probably will choose very different tunes to younger members.

Some of his music is great, but for me it's marred by the really commercial cheese he released on Perfecto Fluoro, such as "The First Day (Horizon)" & "Paint A Picture." For that reason he doesn't rank highly in my list of fave producers.
I saw him live at Universe's Big Love in the '90s, but sadly his set was spoiled by ridiculously low volume restrictions.
That would have been a great festival for me, since I have sensitive ears. I would have enjoyed it a lot.

Man with no Name playing over my speakers very loud so people outside can hear this beautiful msuic aswell.
Aktually I think this is the best goa trance track eer made. For many years I considered several goa trance songs as the best goa trance songs, but now I think that is track is a bit better than all of them. The melody is just more energetic and emotional than any other goa trance melody ever made.

When I look at the picture the man looks exactly like I imagined him to look like. He looks healthy, motivated and full of emotions and positive energy, just like his impressive music. This is the reason why the biggest discovery of this year was the remix of Naked people by The Overlords. This remix is as emotional as Teleportation.

some of his tracks have melodies similar to Euro Trance, but that is the case with many ig artists just like Astral projection. I don´t mind the eurotrance melodies because they fit the tracks and improve the atmosphere sometimes.

Normal flat earphones are not a problem because they are similar to headphones. In Ears are a problem because they play the music much closer to your ears than regular earphones. If you had In-Ears, I can understand your problems. Earbuds however are not a big problem since your ears can breath. Unless the volume is too loud, they wont damage your hearing. I don´t play very loud on earphones.
