    Kundalini (Intelligent Monkey) - Bulgaria

     

    Nicolay Sabchev a.k.a. Kundalini is born in 1984 in Bulgaria. He’s interested in electronic music since 1997 and influenced by the trance genre around 2000. After some time of interest, music and parties, he turned the whole experience to mixing and having more fun spinning his favorite style. He played on many parties in Bulgaria and also in Turkey establishing good connection with the Istanbul based label Intelligent Monkey. His sets contain mostly full on psychedelic trance with a lot of groovy, warm and melodic sounds “but once again all depends on the time of the day and the mood of the crowd” as he says.

    Raya – Bulgaria

     

    Raya yet 19 years old is involved with psychedelic trance for more than 5 years. Composing from around 4 years like an amateur just for pleasure she decided to move on and she started to play in bigger parties few years ago. Her first appearance in a big event was at “Mati Zemlya 2” one festival where she had the opportunity to play with names like Goa Gill, Penta, Psychoz etc. She played also with Talpa & Atma-live party organized by Umaia Team and also Earthdance festival 2006 in the Vitosha Mountain. Although those international events lately she prefers the smaller more underground gatherings where she can share her real passion for the music which is not so popular for the most audience in Bulgaria. At the moment she plays mainly dark psychedelic, and sometimes full on.

    Andonasty (PsyTech Team) - Bulgaria

     

    Andon aka Andonasty got his first touch with psychedelic trance back in 1996 as an artist impressed from the glowing graphics and paintings on the neon light. He started to look and collect ideas and all input in his work later. He appeared as Dj for the first time in 1997 in trance scene in most famous trance places at that time in Plovdiv until year 2000. In the same period he started his own show in radio “Olimp” for trance music. Later the same year he moved to Berlin where he met with Tribaltools Crew and more specifically with Dj Lala and Dj Iguana/Naked Tourist. While studding Arts in his free time he was working as decorator for Tribaltools. In his portfolio are the decorations from the parties of Etnica in Casino Club, Haldolium and Treibstoff in Kulturbrauerei, and took part at the Fluidum – blacklight art exhibition all in Berlin. He and also painted Tribaltools’s psy shop.

    Back in Bulgaria in 2004 he met with PsyTech and became part of the team. With the rest Djs he was part from the famous in the bulgarian psy scene “psyexistence” parties.

    2004 was the year of the first festival “Mati Zemlya” where he got a place in the line up as well as the second edition of the festival in 2005. Appeared also in the open air in Pancharevo and Chamla Kingdom. Two of his works are in Sweden and used from oCtodur (Hypnotica records) in the decoration in many parties.

    Ever since he is a of the PsyTech Team and behind the decks and as decorator.

    His favorite artists are Penta, Phobium, Paranoize, Claw, Andera, all from Dejavoo, Overdream and of course Gain reduction. He’s describing his style as mainly dark and night full on psytrance.

    DigatalX – bpm/ Triplag Records

     

    The person behind DigitalX project is Alexis from Cyprus who has been both djing and producing for the past 10 years. Determination, constantly in search for new sounds and meanings are the key points taking the major part of his unique conception for the music production. Distinguishing hard yet groovy darkpsy style you can find as a result in his latest work. Underground spirit always is that makes him and his music both different and remembered.

    He played with artists like Highko, Claw, Azax Syndrome, Iron Madness, Nexus, Etnica, Astrix, Astral Projection, Space Cat, Atomic Pulse etc and he's also a part of VOC project with his good friend Paskal aka Kerberos. Voted for no 1 psy trance dj of Cyprus for 2005 and 2006.

    Kerberos – bpm/ Moonsun Records

     

    Paskal aka Kerberos has been producing and playing psytrance since the beginning of 2005. Originally from Greece, and recently returned bask to Thessaloniki from more than decade spent in Berlin, where he owns his own production studio. After his first contact with the new experimental styles of psy-trance he decided to start making his own tunes.

    He worked in collaboration with producers/Djs like Silent Horror, Datakult, Narcosis, Badsektor, DigitalX (on the side project called VOC) and DJ Moonsun. Currently Paskal is having another working project going on with his good friend Mikro Günther, named ManiaX and is also a member of the BPM Organisation since its creation.

    And here's some useful tips :

    If you're outside Bulgaria , the best way is to get something to Plovdiv.

    If you haven't a direct line to Plovdiv of course you can travel to Plovdiv from any other point of Bulgaria with a bus or train ( http://bdz.bg/ - Bulgarian state railway - check it!)

    From Plovdiv we organizing a bus to the party place , and We'll post more info soon.

    Also you can get a train or bus to Assenovgrad (the ticket is around 0,50 euro)

    -Central RailStation - Plovdiv

    -Bus Station - “Rhodopes”

    and from Assenovgrad to walk to the place ("40 Izvora" , 6km from Assenovgrad) , or catch a taxi.

    PLOVDIV

    Location and transport accessibility:

     

    The town of Plovdiv (160m above sea level), is situated in the western part of the Upper Thracian valley.

    The town is located 150km from Sofia, 19km from Assenovgrad, 102km from Smolyan, 90km from Stara Zagora.

    It ranks as the second Bulgarian city in population and size after the capital.

     

    Two types of transport – road and railway - connect this city to the rest of the country. There is also an existing air transport infrastructure, but currently there are no flights to and from Plovdivexcept in the winter season when charter flights especially to and from Germany and Great Britain are operated. Highway connects the city with the capital, while major road infrastructures connect it with Pazardjik, Assenovgrad, Stara Zagora, Bourgas, Haskovo, Kardjali, Karlovo, Smolyan.

    ALL BUSES FROM THIS STATION INDIRECTION KARDJALI CAN BE USED TO REACH "40 IZVORA" COMPLEX. just ask the driver to stop you after Assenovgrade at the road to the complex. And don't buy ticket to Kardjali - ask how much will cost you to this direction. :)

     

    One can buy tickets from the City transportation company for bus transport to Greece-1, Central Square, phone: +35932 224271.

     

    There are railway lines from Plovdiv to Sofia, Bourgas, Svilengrad, Karlovo, Panagyurishte, Peshtera, Hissarya and Assenovgrad.

     

    Railway stations:

    Central – 44, Hristo Botev blvd., phone +35932 222729, 552730, 222940, info on departing trains: +35932 175.

    ASSENOVGRAD

    Location and transport accessibility:

    The town of Assenovgrad (180 m above sea level) is situated in the western part of the Upper Thracian Valley. It is 169km southeast of Sofia, 19km southeast of Plovdiv .

    Assenovgrad is known as “little Jerusalem”, because of the great number of monasteries, churches and chapels in the region.

    Assenovgrad is one of the oldest towns in Bulgaria. Within its surroundings more than 100 Thracian mounds were found.

    The town has a favourable geographic location. This fact explains its ancient name of Stanimaka, meaning fortified narrow place.

    In 1230 Ivan Asen II fortified and expanded the Stanimakas fortress, this is the reason for the fortress be renamed to Assenova Fortress, and the town – to Assenovgrad .

    The town is famous for its wine production.

    Assenovgrad is connected to the rest of the country mostly by bus transport and by railway. There are regular bus lines to Plovdiv (each 30 minutes), Smolyan, Chepelare, Pamporovo, Bachkovo Monastery, Haskovo, Kardjali.

    HolyMen is back with a new album. What could be expected of HolyMen :) its the

    same stuff. Heavy Bass and Cheesy Melodies :) Good Sunny Album. [3/10] - this

    is my opinion . I don't know why but i like this kind of trance sometimes,

    but is far away from my style .Pls. people leech this album from somewhere ,

    no need to buy it.

    This whole drug thingi, with the tracknames and drug-samples Rocks! , Insejn

    ... Is it strange - the project named 1200 mics (micrograms) to use these

    samples ? I think this is good album , my friends think the same :) at the

    last our party ( Psychedelic Panic openair 13-14.09 - Bulgaria look parties

    section) ppl went crazy at MESKALINE :) ... other my favourite trax are

    Hashish , Marijuana , Ecstasy ... i think if U like GMS or Alien Project this

    will be a good album for you
