  1. well fook me that stuff is pretty damn good!! SMI²LE
  2. "who knows what anything will be like in 20 years?" You don't but that dosn't stop people from guessing After all, that's why we have visionaries and sci-fi writers SMI²LE
  3. Amen to that!!! Who wouldn't like being payed a fortune for travelling around the world and playing their favorite tracks? SMI²LE
  4. ah I didn't see that there was also a list for vinyls... my mistake SMI²LE
  5. "up to 50 records secure shipping for 25,- euro" but there are only 21 CDs on the list!! SMI²LE
  6. "He plagues(?) the minds of his "fans" with his simple kids-trance. " well maybe people actually like "kids-trance"? Let's face it: most people who go to a party have 9- 5 jobs bearing a lot of stress... they wouldn't want to add to their stress level by listening to dark music... and since they have to be at work at 9 AM on monday they can't afford to wait untill like 9-10 AM for the DJ to play morning music. And he's mostly recognized as a DJ, NOT as an artist!! (actually he's in the Guiness Book of World Records as THE most famous DJ over the world!!) SMI²LE
  7. are you the same Daan that posted here like ages ago? In case you are, welcome back!! SMI²LE
  8. Ah I thought this was a dying genre, you know, the kind of track that brings tears to your eyes when the sun comes up in the morning? (BTW I DON'T consider 1200 Mics or the 25634 full-on clones to bring any tears to anybodies' eyes when the sun comes up...) Anyway, lately I found some pretty decent stuff: Etnoscope - Sunrise Parasence - Noodle Doodle (yeah Parasence actually made a morning track...) Space Buddha - Silent Galaxy any more I should know of ? SMI²LE
  9. "And now here comes the hard part: is there ANYTHING similar in the world?" of course man!! actually this is the what was initially called "morning-trance": music played after 9 or 10 AM to which people could just chill... similar artists: Kode IV - Silicon Civilisation (1994) Bodh Gaia - Ayahuasca (1999) most stuff from Elysium Highlight Tribe - Love Medecine and Natural Trance (2002) Doof - Disposable Hymns to the Infinite EP (1993) LSD - A Trip into Another World (2002) Son of the Light - Yellow Magnetic Star (2001) Element - Full Moon (2002), probably Transform too, but I haven't listened to it yet Perplex - Tranceporter (2003) Divinorum - Talisman (2000) (about half of the album, the other half is full-on) higher on the BPM scale but still the same vibe IMO: Etnoscope - Drums from the Dawn of Time SMI²LE
  10. "Oh... and I read somewhere that he has new album ready but don't know where to release it." hehe yeah Izik (Sandman) himself wrote that like 3 years ago on this very forum... I wonder what ever happened to him? SMI²LE
  11. "Are they any artists in same style of sandman ? " no, not really, maybe try some old stuff from Matsuri Records? SMI²LE
  12. I know but why be impatient to have it? Usually you're impatient to have a track you DON'T already have... anyway, I guess this doesn't answer his question :-) SMI²LE
  13. yeah well that's my problem... in today's world I see myself making more and more decisions based on "freshness" (newest release is a killer, I lesten to it for a week, then I'm bored, then I move on to another new release, listen to it, then get bored, etc.) Now this WASN'T the case at all with older releases. I still have satisfaction from my old AP, MFG, BotFB (Twin Sharkfins) Etnica (Alien Protein),... but with new releases I can't stand re-listening to a track I've listened to like a month or 2 ago... is it just me? SMI²LE
  14. so if you have it unreleased why would you be interested in having the released version??? It should be the exact same track, no? SMI²LE
  15. "i hope it won't be a full on year cause this bores very quickly" hehe funny to see how 2 aparently completely different styles (minimal and full-on) generate the same respone: "boring". I remember in late 2002 how everyone was complaining on how boring the minimal scene was and that they hoped to get some more full-on... now if minimal AND full-on are boring, what are we left with??? SMI²LE
  16. oops... SMI²LE
  17. so any albums released officially in 04 or is it still to early? I wonder what surprises 2004 will bring us... who would've guessed at the end of 2002 that 2003 would be a full-on year and no minimal? SMI²LE
  18. so any albums released officially in 04 or is it still to early? I wonder what surprises 2004 will bring us... who would've guessed at the end of 2002 that 2003 would be a full-on year and no minimal? SMI²LE
  19. I'd definately wouldn't say that Hallucinogen and IM have the same style... SMI²LE
  20. I second Towelie's "what ?????" First of all, Shpongle is chill-out... if you like Shpongle, you'll probably like Entheogenic, TIP - Mystical Experiences, V/A - Mystery of the Yeti 1 and 2, V/A - The Mystery of the 13 Crystal Skulls and more recently Hallucinogen - In Dub, OTT - Blumenkraft and Younger Brother - A Flock of Bleeps. And don't forget that Shpongle themselves have 2 albums and a remix album... Second of all, Infected Mushroom have IMO a very unique style that is done only by them. They might change their style from one album to another but still I can instantly recognize it's IM just after their synthlines and melodies. So I don't see what "alternative" you'd have to IM. other than that, I agree that you should check out the albums highlighted in red in the review section, it'll give you a good idea of what this psytrance thing is all about SMI²LE
  21. hehe BTW I remember when I was 16 and got my first taste of goatrance (AP, Prana,...) I found it was sooo futuristic, for me all electrnic music would've eventually evolved to that complicated and fast goa sound... ah how I have been proven wrong :-( SMI²LE
  22. Just listened to it... what can I say, the full-on bandwagon just got a new member I wasn't a big fan of Cryptic Crunch but Division by Zero sounds so plain in comparison... Listening to this album and knowing it was made by HuxFlux kinda feels like seeing 5-door hatchback with the name "Ferrari" on the bonet... SMI²LE
  23. "imagine your 15 yr old kid...what could he like..." err... Eminem? SMI²LE
  24. I know I'll fall into generalizations here, but the new age I've heard is basically some dude who sets up a mic in the forest, recording stuff for 75 minutes, then brings the DAT tape home and fiddles around a little with a synth on top... no wonder you can buy this stuff at low low prices in supermarkets... SMI²LE
  25. "Psytrance will have been dead for a long time, but a new form of disco will have taken its place." ROFL!! SMI²LE
