  1. Erm... Ill go by artist, its easier..

    Ray Charles

    Stevie Wonder

    The Beatles

    Marvin Gaye

    Aretha Franklin

    Gladys Knight

    Ray Lamontagne

    Sam Cooke

Taylor Hicks (the dude from american idol)

Anyways, me loves some soul/old rnb...

  2. Mmm....

    60% Chill/Ambient

    10% Electro House

15% Old rnb/blues/soul music (marvin gaye, otis redding, ray charles, stevie wonder, etc)

    5% Psytrance Classics

5% Hip-hop (not when im home tho)

5% random stuff like classical, brazilian pop music, bossa, jazz, blues (which also count as old music lol)

  3. very nice piece

it does sound pretty raw (mastering is not just for volume)

whatever goes on around the main beat, i find very interesting

the beat imo could be worked on

also the sound is much cleaner at the end

almost sounds like a whole different song

    nice nighttime excursion

    thanks

Woah!!! im glad you noticed that in the end it sounds like a whole different song... This tune is divided into 4 different sub-impressions.. Dunno how the idea will work..

Btw, i havent mixed nor did any work in the master bus, thats why it sounds raw... I'll do that tomorrow when my ears are fresh =)

  4. 3rd World Full-On

All the Full-On that comes from the weird places like Brazil, Portugal and Hungary, Malta

Notable artists: Wrecked Machines, Blisagorgon Something, Audialize

Edit: nobody really knows where is Hungary and who are Blisagorgon Something but  their name sounds weird enough to get included.

    HAHAHAHAHHA :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

    GR8 ONE FP!

  5. Wow... Really darkish beggining, maybe lacking a few pads/layers to give a more full sound to the track?

The kick is a bit too high in frequencies, but thats probably your choice.. i would choose a *ooomph* over a *pufft* in this dark track, it could give a feeling of extra depth..

Wow that break is awesome.. In a huge system this could sound great! The B-Line is hardly audible to me in my headphones (i cant listen with the monitors right now) but i think it may lack a little bit of musicality... I can hear the sounds but i cant hear melodies/progressions through the track..

Not only putting out more percussion layers or more sounds give a feeling of progression, but sometimes a great chord progression, even a slow one can give you a great feeling of meaning to the track.

Btw, the end is awesome, really trippy stuff.

ps: remember that stereo enhancing thing i told ya!

  6. Full-on = boring to listen at home, dont mind at parties

Progressive = boring at home and at parties! (Sorry but is the truth)

Chill-out = Great at home and at parties..

Im going to keep listening to chill heh..

    edit:

Newschool Goa = There are some great tunes to listen to when at home, but never plays in parties :(

Oldschool Goa = Same as above

Oldschool Psytrance = listening to bust a move in a party was awesome, considering that brazilians love full-on

  7. FACT: since the beginning of time, a part from a few rare exceptions, good artists have always lived a poor, died miserable and were buried in common graves... Things only changed in the second half of the 1900s with mega producers and artists with private jets and all... so today's trend is actually an exception from the rule...

Actually, it doesnt mean its an exception to the rule. It means that times have changed.
