  1. hehe, yeah, duvdevs voice sucks. and im not sure about trance living forever either, i have been going to psy festivals since 96, but that still hasnt even been 10 years. i do however beleive that underground will never die. whatver it may be at the time.
  2. open minded i am. Im the supervisor is cheese, plastic delux. its not even good music. and im not even trying to look at it from a psy point of view (it would be impossible anyways) it is truely, truely sh1te. i hate the vocals, basically its someone israelie trying to sing english, the accent irritates me. get an english person to sing at least guys. i hate the cheesey tunes, i hate the plastic fake sound it has. it is bollocks, there is no occation where listening to that cd would be appropriate. i think 2/10 is being really generous. imo. its not good psy, its not actually even good music. its cheesey, synthetic, mainstream, cater-for-the-masses, 80's, synth-pop bullsh1t. guys dont waste your money just coz it has the "infected mushroom" label on it. they died years ago.
  3. does anyone know of any decent parties that are happening anywhere in london over september?
  4. oh my sack, this cd is insane. i totally love it. not too surprised as it was made in my hometown (capetown. south africa) timecode, you guys seriously rock. keep SA psytrance at the top of the game.
  5. ...and no, cities of the future is not cool. its cheesey and sh1t. and i hate it with a passion. i am using my COTF cd now for a beer coaster.
  6. yip. im from SA, and the timecode stuff rocks. SA outdoor parties are also totally insane. I agree that it is really hard to find decent psy these days, but i guess its all down to personal taste as well. its what your looking for. i came across a few really interesting/good albums over the last year. like... beaches and cream - dragonfly records zoo3 (dont flame me, its a good stomping cd if your in the mood for some brain-fry) Zorba rinkadink (he is also south african) also, it breaks my heart to do this......but it has been a long time coming......Infected Mushroom......i renounce your name.......you are dead to me. *pulls a black veil over my head*
  7. i think ill save my money on their next album. rather spend it on "exaile - hit the machine" when its released.
  8. im from SA originally (Capetown) (in the uk now). There are quite a few psy places/parties you can go to. there is a psy club called Organifix in Cape Town itself. Then the parties/fesitvals you can go to: there is Vortex, which is a massive psy festival, sometimes 3 days long. although these are pretty mainstream now. if your looking for a more underground (and in my opinion, much better) psy experience, try find out about Alien Safari parties (www.aliensafari.co.za). you can get tickets for these at and Space Station stores in any of the shopping malls in cape town. thats all i can contribute for now. peace.
  9. i am pulling my hair out here, i need help with finding a tune that i heard at a psytrance festival (Alien Safari) in cape-town, south africa. all i can remember (and i dont blame myself) is the sample played in it. its from the CG movie "Final Fantasy" and the sample goes like this: "....the dream is always the same...." in the main chick from the movie's voice. if someone would be able to tell me the name of that tune, or even what album its from, i would be very impressed. thanks guys. OD.
  10. i unfortunately wasted 5 quid on buying the Cities of the Future single from Infected and although i have a deep respect for their music and abilities (B.P empire and Classical for example), it is with great dissapointment that i have to say, guys, Cities of the future sux. the vocals are dire. and arnt very interesting either. the tune is not deep and atmospheric...i wish i could find another word when speaking about such legands...but "crap" is the only one that springs to mind. and although cream was raved about, i didnt think much of it either. its really sad to see guys with such potential fall so blindly into the mainstream electro 80's synth pop genre (or something like that) please, and although this single was positivley god-awful, i cant help myself from buying "IM the supervisor" the minute it is released. i can only hope that "cities of the future" is the only bum track on that album.
