  1. Space Tribe and Simon Posford - Flipout the dolphin

I am shaking the whole body on my chair with the beat of that track, damn what a atmosphere, it sounds so old, but old in a good way and very atmospheric and fresh and really good for dancing, it is awesome. Charlie do you have this track, say something to it. I have almost the full discography of SIMON GODFORD

    Ulrich Shnauss - Knuddelmaus.

Amazing song. I love this guys stuff.

  2. The Nth Dimension is good. Its very good.

    Only 2 hours?

What dimension did you get in after the 2 hours???

The Nth Dimension is a scary place. The music begins to sound all "tinny" like you were listing to it through a "flanger" filter or a tin cup.

It is also not wise to be standing up, when you enter "The Nth Dimension".

  3. ssooo....

    how was it music-wise?

I spent 99% of the time in the Oldschool room. Banging GoaTrance all the way. It was really good. So nice to go to a party where they still play that kind of music.

Hy head is still ringing. It was proper loud.

  4. OMG, i find that scratshes sound very awful and would never use them for a set, i have never heard a psychedelic set with scratching, i have heard sets with scratching which weren´t psychedelic trance but the scratshing sounded awful, it may need skills but if it sounds bad why do you have to learn it, this is just my opinion

yeah, you obviously heard someone who was really aweful at scratching.

  5. what´s bad with it, if it is the instruments then yes, i don´t like many shpongle tracks because they don´t have enough electronical sounds and too much guitars and stuff but this track has a lot of elecronical sounds, it probably would sound better without the guitars though but it already is godlike imo.

Its cheesy, the melodies are dodgy, and theres loads of samba.

It tries too hard to be too many different kinds of music. And loses out on being good music in general.

Like a piece of toast, thinly spread with not enough butter.

  6. That's a good track but I prefer Shpongleyes on that album! Better beats & sounds, not quite as cheesy!

    Orbital - Diversions

Shpongle irritates me. Its technically very good, but as "music" it irritates the crap out of me. I dont like sphongle at all. There are maybe a couple of decent tracks. Most of it is shite though.

  7. hey man i don´t want to fight against you because i like that we have a good friendship now so i am sorry if i am saying anything against you. Okay, i´ll mix some good goa set these days and you will hear that i understand what´s djing, well not really but that doesnt matter, it just matters that i know how a set sounds.

Dj'ing also incorporates "scratching" which is very difficult to do. Its not just crossfading one track into another, and its not just beat matching. There is the creative manner in which the DJ chooses to flow from one track into the next. It indeed does take skill.

  8. djing is playing other artists music who afforted to do the music and the DJ just mix it, nothing more!!! There are people who like more to listen to DJ than to artists and this is very dump.

    628195[/snapback]

Id love to hear you mix man. Really I would. Mixing is difficult. Even the best fuck up every now and again. To say that "Dj'ing is not a skill" is one of the most retarded things Ive ever had the misfortune of hearing on this forum.

For you to say that, you clearly have less than zero understandings of how to DJ or what it even is.
