    Review:

There's something here for Lumen fans but it feels maybe 3 or 4 years out of date and much of the new material isn't as interesting as what was already released.

  2. nearly a year ago i bought this album based on the initial review... now i

totally appreciate it. double dragon, along with koxbox, simon posford, and

sean williams [process] have a certain knack with synths and can really blend

nuance and subtlety into these devilishly deceptive psychedelic masterpieces.

this is right up there with some of the trippiest stuff ever made. sometimes

one can question the execution but the style is so mint that you cannot deny

its fierce attractive qualities. on many of the tracks the kick is less

pronounced, hidden under bubbling, snarling, or wailing synths... that

definatly gives this release a soft yet mind-bending quality that begs for

further listens. if you aren't liking this now listen again and maybe it'll

grow on you. it certainly grew on me. 10/10, one of the top 5 from 2000!

^^ my original review. I have another one that I wrote years later, but the mark stays the same (surprisingly)... Continuum is a real masterpiece.

  3. Jaia and Saiko-Pod rock out with the emerging style of progressive psytrance... this early effort was widely panned by critics and listeners alike, especially for the rather tasteless cover, but it did prove to be a sign of things going forward.

  4. As for the album, not bad... it certainly has some high points. The title track, Future Funk, Solid, Pot Alert... actually, most of this has something going for it.

Weird stuff! It does not sound like anything else. Global and Aus Walk are probably the most noteworthy songs here.
