it was a long time ago but very memorable,

for some reason when i record enable a channel on cubase sx and try to record, it records all the other sounds that are playing on other tracks too!
i'm probably just being stupid i thought it was a routing problem but all channels are set to in:in1&in2 and out:BUS1, which is normal enough i think.
i hope i didnt accidently change a setting or something but what could it be?

i'm new to this music making carry on, but loving it!
however, i'm constantly encountering new problems of course, my latest is this:
i use cubase SX as my sequencer and reason for drums and samples etc. but i'm trying to get to grips with soft synths. i got some really nice sounds going in FM7 but cant seem to record my sounds from FM7 over into Cubase it just wont happen!
i just want to be able to record what i play in FM7 while my other tracks in Cubase play .
change them into Cubase Events
it's probably a really simple thing that i'm overlooking (i hope) but i'd greatly appreciate anyone who's in the know who could give me a bit of knowledge.

last time i was in gokarna it was destroyed by cops coming around every day and "secretly" in the night to grab charas and money or whatever they can get their greasy hands on.
it kept everyone on edge and... what can i say, on edge, on a beuatiful beach?? bad mix.
the first time i went there was a beach that took some hefty trekking up the coast to get to and you had to bring your own provisions too as their were no chai shops.
the following year, 3 chaishops....

if you want a well mellow one, an hour from the party spots (can be good to escape too and not be right in the middle) head for arambol north of anjuna, vagator etc. over the river. very nice place.
mind you i havent been back in goa for a few years but theres natural beauty there that wont change,

under my previous posting name, (which i lost somehow) i asked about a track that i heard while in a state.
i cant find it anywhere! i got no repleys to my last post so i assumed that no one knows it.
.....BUT I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT!! you guys gotta know it!
its a sample from aliens of newt calling out to ripley and shouting "let's go!" (at a great point in the track)
the style of the track would be kind of progressive i suppose (i'm still only getting to grips with all these different style names) i suppose if i said trippy that would'n't be much help.
i heard from one person i met once that its on a compilation called "life revolutions" which of course i cant find anywhere.
it goes; "ripley!"-2-3-4, 1-2-3-"let's go!".
i cant go into anymore detail about it i'm afraid.
help.
