OLIVER LIEB & DR. ATMO - KOYAANISQATSI
hrm. so you didn't like the philip glass soundtrack?
Juno Reactor's recent output has been all about the cinematic experience.
agreed. I was just watching Matrix reloaded the other night and thinking how much the music adds to that movie.
-

Carbon Based Lifeforms- Set Theory & Carbon Based Lifeforms- Vortex
....reminds me of when I first moved to NYC.

yes...I too miss DP's reviews. I used to write reviews as well, so I can say this- to write a good review is very time consuming. It would usually take me about 6 hours start to finish. to listen, think about what i wanted to say, and then write. I can imagine it might take even more focus if english was not my first language. All this being said, it would still be nice to hear from DP once in a while....we miss you

The Border between dark and full-on would be the twilight sound i read about very often lately....no?
There is no line crossing between fullon and darkpsy.
There are many kind of fullon's and darks
Dark > russing style (manifold etc.)
Dark > fullpower (baba jelly)
Dark > psychedelic (blisargon demogorgon)
I'd agree with this....

if someone put a gun in your face and told you to choose one of them who would that be?
This is the lamest poll ever.
Easy choice. Colin.
-
Move it to general. This is more of a discussion than a review.
Agreed. the review wasn't even posted by the person who wrote it.
My comments about the samples were my gut reactions to what i had heard at the time [f.y.i. saiko sounds give you 4 minutes (about half the track) to hear] Regardless, as per the discretion of the mods, i deleted my posts above.

I listen to sofaspace.ch every day at work.

I've got more to say about this later, but just wanted to comment and say that that Anoebis, I LOVE your mother's artwork! Some of my favorite cd covers ever! Does she have anything else posted online?
(to prove this... The artwork of Twist Dreams and Apsara was made by a woman... Actually my mum, héhé)
