THANKS!! I just now saw your post!

    Thanks a lot!

    Thanks,

    Carnage.

  2. Synths: Well I recommend ReFX Vanguard - nearly a must for techno/trance and the likes. Comes with good presets and is great for creating metallic leads and stuff like that. If you listen to my tracks, almost all the synths are done with vanguard.

Vanguard is one of the best tools for creating energetic psytrance sounds... :)

  3. Hehe, no problem dude !

Right now i am little bussy, tomorow i am leaving on a party for 3 days, but when i come back i will make an arhive with the drum samples i use and also a small tutorial for FL Studio about how i make the drums and percutions  and i will post the link here :) Maybe upload other songs too !!!

    Boom :)

    WOW!! :o

I'm shocked...... I really am... You don't know how you're help me (probably us)!!

    THANKS A LOT!

you don't know how much I appreciate it.......

    Try not to forget ;)

    And goodluck with your album.

    Thanks,

    Carnage.

  4. first I must say this isn't the type of psy I really like, but you have some good ideas and nice samples in the song.

Somehow I miss structure in this track, I don't know how to put it into words though.

like the second part of the song best when the melody starts at 4:15 or so. It's more a song than loose samples over a bassline after that :)

maybe a little bit louder kick could get more out of your bassline.

you have an interesting style, keep going in that direction ;)

    279587[/snapback]

    Thanks, man.

The structure is really is horrible... it's wasn't an attempt to make a production... But more a "Bassline Trance"... :)

  5. Your drums is a killing (in the good way)...

Could you give me some advices how to handle the drums in a professional way?

What is the best HiHat and snares or even Rims to put in a track like this one for example... and in what way best to put them... :)

Don't want to steal your secrets... but still some advises here and there if you can :)

And if you can't.. maybe you could give me some good guides if you have any that you know on the net.

    Thanks,

    Carnage.

  6. After long time not being here... I thought I could share this one with you all:

    "Abulele is Coming" - 150bpm -

    http://stage.co.il/media/largefiles/amircohen491286.mp3

It's a test for progressive psytrance...

The bassline ain't sound so well, but I don't have the time to improve it... But It isn't that bad either. I think it has it personality.

And don't mind the melodies from 4:10 that it gets kinda "nice" and destroys the darkness... Can't help it :)

I finished besides this one a full track :)

But it's more a House track... I'll publish It later on.

    Tell me what you think.

    Thanks,

    Carnage

  7. I second that. You can't reproduce nature, it'll just sound weird. Go with the sampler route. Go natural! There are plenty of animal sfx cd's around. You could probably download wav's and there's nothing stopping you ripping sounds off BBC wildlife specials etc.

    good luck!

Thanks for both of you :).

  8. Some artists are well known to abuse of FX sample cds. What is your flavor? Do you favor knobbing your own sounds or do you heavily rely on sample cds?

IMO I prefer building my own sounds on my Clavia Modular G2 even though it can be a long process until it spits out exactly what I have in mind.

I don’t really see the point in buying expensive FX sample cds except for a few very particular sounds that you won’t be able to build on your own.

Not to forget that buying an FX sample cd involves the risk of sounding like a zillion other artists who had exactly the same good idea as you :D

It simply makes my ears boil when I listen to a nice tune and all of the sudden I hear something that has already been used by another artist.

Another thing that comes to my mind, and it's rather off my own topic heh, is the abuse of the Delay Lama plugin. How much Delay Lama can our ears hear until they implode like a supernova?

    Whats your opinion?

    Regards

I use samples only for kicks, hats, snares and etc (but heavily edit them to my needs)... just the basics sounds... beyond that i would never use samples... because it's ruins the idea that "you're making music of your own".

I truly love creating sounds by my own (even if it takes long time... and it does :\ ), and I'm thinking to learn even how to make kicks or hat and etc by myself...

  9. Hi Carnage,

My advice is, stick to Cubase! I've started with Fruityloops and felt the need for something better. At first I was VERY disappointed at Cubase because of my previous experience with FL. The following tips helped me to get familiar with Cubase and I can tell you I would NEVER EVER fall back to FL now that I am aware of what Cubase can give me.

A good start would be to abuse of the help function. Everytime you don't understand something in the program, press F1 and use the "index" to find the part of the program you have no clue about (for example type "scrub"). There’s an entry for every function of the program, all you have to do is search a little cause sometimes multiple function are grouped into a big topic. You will understand the mechanics of the program very quickly.

Another important step in becoming more familiar with Cubase is to use the "Shortcuts & Key commands" list which is in chapter 18 of the manual. Make sure you use the search function of the help file to quickly find more info about each shortcut listed in chapter 18.

That way you will be a Cubase pro in no time!

    Good luck

    Regards

Thanks, I'll try to stick with all of yours' help. :)
