Wild Things Records is a new London based record label releasing new talent from the UK underground psychedelic trance scene. Wild Things Records is made up of people who are at the forefront of the UK/London underground trance scene, all of whom are DJing and promoting parties most weekends within London and the South of England. Wild Things Records already has a collective of new UK artists who are undergoing projects and albums to be released with the label in the near future, the first solo project being EVP’s first album, ”Normal Music”, to be released in July/August. This first Wild Things release, ”Wild Rumpus”, is a compilation created to give the listener an introduction to some of these new artists and their original style of UK psy-trance music. All this music is unreleased and has been tried and tested with great results on the dance floors in the UK and at various parties around the world. Hoodwink - live act, DJ, full time producer. Kelton has created his own blend of fat hypnotic trance with deep psychedelic grooves and warming atmospheric sounds. He has managed to create a style of music to be played at parties night and day. Reality Grid - live act venture by two artists, Leon and Alex. These two artists have joined forces to create an original funky sound, with pulsating rhythms and grooving bass lines. Both are promoting parties within the UK and are booked to play in Europe later this year. EVP - live act, dj. A/R for Wild Things Records. Alex has created his own unique sound with a high standard of production quality and original style of filtered synthesis. The music is a collection of large floor filling bass lines, psychedelic sounds, and interesting oscillating rhythms with tidy percussive programming. Alex has been playing at many parties in the UK and around the world, and has more bookings for later this year. Error Corrective - live act project involving two artists, Nix and Dan. Both artists have come together to form a darker underground psychedelic trance sound, which has been heard and enjoyed at many parties within the UK. They are booked for festivals in Europe later this year and are focusing on finishing their first album to be released in the near future, their sound is original and fresh. Sorry Lola, but if we're talking seriously about UK psytrance, Israeli popstars are just not what it's about, except for kids who don't know any better who want to pay more like 60 - 70 Euro to go to rip-off events like Pantiworld. The Alexandra Palace event was called "Appetite for Destruction" (WTF?), and when I.M. played, the giant visual screens were used for close ups of the bald one singing into his microphone. What the hell are these people up to? Skazi is just another wannabe rockstar on the same trip, that kind of ego-wanking is hard to take seriously in a scene that has always been against it, especially when we have so much talent here, and people still prepared to make parties and music purely because they love it. He's a chimp, but he certainly knows how to make money. I don't have a problem with him, I.M. or Pantiworld making a living, except when it becomes the exploitation of our scene and music, because IMO, that is blatantly what's going on with these people.
