  1. Yes i find it OK.

Otherwise i would probably not be posting in this forum.

I would be a total hipocrite if i had something against traveling to other countries and breaking cultural/social norms and laws.

(f.ex. traveling to india, taking drugs, dressing inappropriately, dancing to loud foreign music... not giving a flying fuck, that's how this scene begun.)

Do you think such behavior is ok as long as it's for pleasure but not fore those in need? Please explain. <_<:P

Im not talking about travelling, Im talking about abusing social security system to do nothing but live on welfare and then go burn cars, beat up white people when they wander into migrant neighbourhood.

Getting back? Do you really think refugee migration is on par with murder and enslavement of millions?

Do you think the poor EU countries have the right to put people on a plane against their will and send them in to a warzone?

Should we close the door on refugees and just hope they die quietly?:wacko:

Please react agressively and insulting. Im a troll, it feeds my ego.  :D

I do think that those EU countries who have nothing to do with exploiting resources and humans in other parts of the worlds as well as throughout the historical periods of time, shouldnt be obliged to take responsibility for, say, Britains or France's historical mess.

In my country for one, great deal of injustice has been created during soviet occupation, till this day we have hundreds of thousands of illegal settlers who were brought into our country(part of them have obtained citizenship, others refrain from doin so) in order to make our culture vanish, our language disappear. And now when I imagine that theres still alot to do to make sure that those who respect this country integrate and those who dont leave it, that now someone within EU will demand us to take in more foreigners, it makes me pretty fired up on the issue. Especially if you take into consideration that were very small nation and have had our un-fair share of problems with soviets trying to get rid of our culture, language and us as such. Also, since Ive been witness of how un-willing imigrants tend to be in regards to integrating into society, Im not willing to allow for more of such subjects to enter my country and behave disgracefully.

I for one wouldnt expect to be given benefits just because I ask them, I have to earn them, I dont believe a person should receive all the goods and luxuries just for free, just because of being lazy bastard who is too damn stupid to try to fix things at his homeland and instead goes abroad in vast numbers just to seek good life at the expense of someones else paid taxes and exploit the system.

Now, bare minimum is OK, but living for years on benefits and not working and then going out into the streets and wrecking havoc is, well, they are asking to be sent back from where they came from.

You dont go around your neighbours apartments looking for the one with the freshest paintjob, you work, make money, buy paint and tools and do the fucking paintjob in your own apartment instead of being parasite.

Unless your country and people been sucked out of the blood by said neighbours, I see no reason to ask for free goodies just because thy neighbours might be slightly stupid in this regard.

I guess we come from different historical background, hence the differences in opinions.

  2. Nowhere. In my opinion modern politics oppose individuality. I believe that:

-No one is really left or right. It all depends to the situation and what's in our favour.

-Political parties are anti-democratic by nature.

-It's in human nature to abuse the system therefore corruption will happen no matter the person, party or idea.

Well put, Ormi, well put :D!

On a side note - what happened now in Greece is huge disaster wait to unfold if the rest of the world allows it to.

Leftist here. There isn't any party or ideology that embodies what I like, and actually, I don't know what interests me the most. The only thing I'm sure about is that I am anti-capitalist.

But when I go voting, I don't vote for ideas but for people. I already have voted for ecologist, center-left, communist and conservative right-wing candidates.

I guess ex-commie occupied countries have totally different ideas of what the communism IRL is all about :D!

Sure, its people, who ruin and corrupt system, but 50 years of slavery for "communism" is something hard to battle against when you hear words communism is good or something among those lines over here :D!

And its not like, so called fathers of commies ideas were all about PLUR themselves, were they ;)?

I guess one problem with the word capitalism is that when folks use it, they mean different things. Some folks would think of it like how Scandinasia mentioned while others use it to describe the idea/belief that we should be allowed to trade, do, etc whatever we want without interference from another power, or etc. It becomes a huge battle of semantics.

Perhaps we should try to look up it in dictionary and simply use meaning found there?

Otherwise its pretty much up to anyones own interpretation and/or experience of what this or that social/political/ecomonical structure/system is all about.

Left. Not comunist but I beleive in free education and free healthcare, letting the refugee's being processed fairly and humanley even the boat arrivals. I thnk everybody should have a good quality of life partially subsidised by tax payers money with the opportunity to make more of it if they care to push harder.

Now, I understand you are out of this discussion and Im sure we wouldnt agree on this anyway, but the question for those taking part in this discussion:

Do you find it OK people fleeing their own countries instead of cleaning mess up at their own home before running around world looking for naive European countries with generous social benefit systems and not giving a flying fuck about integration and respect of local culture and laws?

I understand that countries which abused certain regions as colonies throughout centuries or at least decades are just getting back what they might have inflicted on occupied/suppressed people, but how about the rest, the ones who never occupied anyone, who never sucked out life force and wealth out of other peoples lands, countries, is that fair to them, especially given recent talks about how EU wants to creat refugee quotas and spread them around the whole EU and pay for refugees settled in each and every EU country?

  3. I guess I would have to take some sort of online quiz to see where the wind blows in my case :D!

I find it perfectly fine to have to go and protect my country, family, myself with assault rifle is situation comes to it, I guess Im not the only one from this PLUR family.

  4. He's definitely good and hope he improves even more. Heavy pleiadians/crop circles influences here. Some of his melodies are so so but the sounds and textures are right on. He is good with the sounds and energy but not so much with the mixing and mastering. My 2 cents

Well, not exactly on this matter, but here are my 2 cents:

Pleiadians were 4 people and Crop Circles 6, so theres a big difference and you cant expect one person make the same thing as good as the original artists did, its just impossible to have 4 or 6 personas or traits of 4-6 people in one artist and let it all out balanced and sound good :D!

In other words - forget it, there arent any Pleiadians coming or new Crop Circles appearing nearby :D!

  5. Oh wheres the drama violin when you need it?

I very much disagree on you with this point. If you think that dancing to music can be entrancing, then why not with making music? In an audience, I love it to see an artist whose body language is totally in line with the feel and power of the music he or she creates at that very moment... Now don't make me post a Jimi Hendrix video!

But this has nothing to do with the video that Anoebis posted imo, that stuff is just easy music for easy people. But live and let live I guess...

Pay attention, Im talking about obsessively loving ones own music and not about being spaced out by creating music or tripping to it while creating trip for the rest of the party.

Im talking about OMG IM GONNA SLAY EM ALL WITH MY KILLARGH TUNE kind of attitude, I think I made it clear in my posts.

But others have pointed that out, so its a common thing.

  6. if you want to see the other extreme, look for videos of skrillex playing at tomorrowland. we have to be careful that the psy scene doesn't devolve into something like that.

People have scared each other with these horror stories about psy turning into this, into that and still its alive and kicking, fear not, it wont die off as long you value it dearly and seek for more than just drugged up stomping in the music.

There are many great dancers who have spent their lives practicing and learning and developing their talents. I don't think "use your body, not your head" is advice that they'd value. Perhaps that's precisely what's wrong with goa/psy dancers: that they don't use their heads. When you shut off your brain, maybe do some drugs, and jump around flailing your arms like an idiot, you have taken "dancing" back to the realm of the monkeys rather than the human art form with the same name.

I'm not disputing that it's an ecstasy for you to do this. Similarly, it's an ecstasy for heroin addicts to shoot up. Decency would suggest that you don't do that in public and that you shouldn't be proud of such moments. But we're might be speaking a completely different language here. What value do I imagine that you have for decency? Likely as little as I have for "letting myself go" unrestrained. :-)

Those dancers are academic dancers or what you call them, doesnt matter what you call them, they learn some kind of traditional form of dance be it very strict or more freestyle form of some art of dance, but its restricted to some sort of system.

System of psy trance music the way I see it is dancing the music makes you to, no borders, only music and your sense of freedom, perhaps oneness with the universe it the limiting/unlimiting factor.

As far as the video in the original post goes - yeah, that's way o.t.t! Not what I want to see at all (or hear!)

The way I look at it, going mental to your own music is more of an ego trip than a DJ getting carried away - at least the DJ is celebrating his love of other peoples' work and sharing it, hoping to get the crowd to love the music too. Going nuts to your own tunes is a bit too rockstar, "aren't I awesome?" (I'm aware this view may not be universally accepted. ;) )

Yeah, agree, loving ones own music to the point where you go extatic on the stage to it, is over the top, its IMO ego tripping.

And dont start about music being ones brainchild and thus loving it like ones child, its not a child, its your creating but not a kid so its obviously different than loving your own child.

Since Goa Trance listeners and musicians idolize India and Hinduism so much, I think it might be sobering and enlightening to see how they treat dance:

These are truly talented dancers who dedicate their lives to it, not for "ego", but just because that's how they've chosen to express themselves. They talk about forgetting their body and intense concentration. This is practically the opposite of your principle of using your body and forgetting your head (aka being an ape). It's ironic that our music and culture is supposedly inspired by them, yet we clearly lack their strength or talent and are happy to indulge ourselves like wild animals without a sense of discipline or decency.

I would like to see them dancing to forest psy for example, can you arrange that?

Also, would you mind posting general guidelines for people how to dance to psychedelic trance?

  7. I don't care what people say. I am 100% with Anoebis. There'a absolutely no trance or psy to be found in these "live-acts". It's all ego and starstruck mediocrity!

His music and the way he act just goes against everything this scene (psytrance/Goa/trance) was build upon!

I dont know nothing about the guy in video, so could you please elaborate what kind of opinion you have about him and what is it based on?

Also, what exactly was this psy scene built upon, no drugs, no sex, no fun, just pure PLUR? I mean, even back then there obviously should have been ego trippers as well, every part of society have such individuals.

If you think someones an ego tripper and doesnt quite correlate to what the scene is all about(even if theres only one person left in the whole scene staying "true" to the very spirit of the scene, whatever that spirit be) then what about just calling him a poser and be done with it, I mean, its(psy) in your mind, your heart and surely such posers shouldnt ruin it for you, should they?

  8. Well if youre not happy about pressing play and it all being called live act then I agree with you on that.

However, if its against a guy having little fun on the stage then Im not against it, nothing about ego unless he felt like "Im gunna kill them all with my killargh tune and badass dance moves OMG!"

  9. Nothing is dying.

As for kartoonz - dont be lazy, search this forum, dont expect that for every track of your liking there will be direct answer as to what else might sound the same or similar!

Start with looking at various compilations with tracks that youre looking similar ones to and start from there.

Really, move your brain, dont be couch potato ;)!

  10. Not to defend provocateur, you mention compassion and shame of sharing planet with such individuals.

Go figure, the way Ive understood meaning of compassion recently is that you feel it even for your "enemies" and hope for them to turn into better, compassionate persons and not just slag them off by saying youre sorry for sharing the same planet with it/them :D?

Then again, currently it would be very hard for me to feel compassion, for, for example someone threatening me with rifle and demanding all my belongings and just walk away with it :D!

    Go figure...

  11. If I know where the sample comes from and that source is related to the music, as in it makes sense and perfectly add to the track not only as sample but also with samples background(where the sample comes from), then it might add to the sensation for me.

Another unpopular opinion - its still uneasy for me to accept that Radi is real person :D!

  12. Ah, it's you. Hmm I hope this does not sound offensive, but I never was so much into your stuff from the mid 90s, I always felt it was missing exactly that feeling of either depth or energy that I like.

Braindance as collab was real good track in my opinion, also Live in Antaris festival 2009(?) is to my liking.
  13. Fuck the lot of you.

I see you vented your anger there, but did you read all posts or not? If you have, you missed the fact that it looks like others dont agree with what original poster said.

As for disabled people trying harder - Ive heard many stories about people trying hard and achieving as much and even more than average Janes and Joes, if we take into consideration the fact that some disabilities make it much harder to achieve things that normal people do with ease, then we could say that any disabled person who doesnt give up and keeps on improving his/her life is way more productive in his/her life than averages Joes/Janes.

  14. Hallucinogen - so far I have not got into it, he seems to be pretty hyped, perhaps thats why Im not a fan of Shpongle either, even though it might sound better to me now if I give it proper listen which I havent really.

Listened to LSD in recent days once - its good, but the rest of the album wasnt to my liking.

Then again, it took a while to get into IFO.

  15. Im not following sports in general, but I switched through channels and noticed that Germany plays with Brasil and then noticed that Brasil is losing so decided to watch, I think I saw 2 or 3 out of 6 goals so far.

Poor Brasilians crying... Funny, given that its sports, there are far more serious things in the world to care about more!
