Hi, Sorry i'm not sure if there is a plug-in in or rack system in cubase. You could duplicate the track and add different EQ settings. It's a bit fiddley but will work.

Just to add to this. Make sure you backup your projects on several hard drives. The second backup is the only real backup ;-)

Hi, A dictaphone will work but there are also dedicated field recorders (m-audio, Tascam etc) out there that will offer much greater sound quality. It depends on your budget and what you want to use the sounds for. In this case - the more you pay, the better the product.
