    I did and... hmmm yeah well.. It was the owner of Nano and a couple other people, all into full on and prog only it seemed...

    Found it odd when they were speaking of how full on is getting "more psychedelic"....

     

    Someone in the crowd asked what they thought of the old school revival (i was too shy to ask about goa in front of a crowd lol) and they responded that "old school...well... its probalby just a fad that will pass" and all weren't keen on it lol... Tough talk to sit through for a goa fan lol.

    Everybody their own scene & music I guess, but dude, they clearly don't have a idea what is going...

    I will be there with my girl. This will be our goodbye party, since we are leaving for India after that!

     

    I dreamed about Etnica not playing only oldschool yesterday, lets just say I did horrible things to him... Maurizio did play true oldschool last year, didn't he? Otherwise I will be crying to myself in a corner somewhere...

    Still, if I come we must decide how to meet, because I am not coming for the festival mainly, but in order to meet psynews people. Will the psynews community meet on the scene or where will they meet?

     

    Duuuude.... Don't worry, be happy! Just say hello to Imba, Jos or me... We are going to have so much fun enjoying the music we love. Just let the music take control over your body and connect to people on the dancefloor will trancing.

    What is so great about Psytrance festivals?

    I am reading a press release about Pinkpop, one of the biggest music festivals of Holland. They won't allow big bottles of sunblock because the organisation is afraid people are going to throw them and hurt other people... They won't allow your own bottles of water, for the same reason :S

     

    When I read stuff like this I am extremely happy I found psytrance festivals, where everything is so chilled and I don't have to worry about (drunk) people throwing bottles in my face... Damn, I don't mind some beer or water throw around, when people are having (drunk) fun, but isn't it just common sense not to throw heavy stuff in a crowd?

     

    So what I think is great about psytrance festivals? The people! Off course shit happens here and there, but in general psytrance people are chilled out and don't harm people just to impress somebody or something...

     

    What are you experiences with festivals? Psytrance or 'normal'. What do you like about them and what not?

    Hehe, me too... A girlfriend that doesn't like goa? She would go nuts being together with me :D

     

    But ok, Robbert is one of the 75% in my case :) long time goa heads meeting once in a while :)

     

    Not often enough. We should play Kolonisten van Catan again :P And I should go to more parties... Next job I will not work on sundays anymore :P

    Yes, what can I say... It is storming Goa Trance, influenced by Etnica/Pleiadians in a very good way. Can't wait for a full release! And indeed E-mantra, Crossing Mind, Filteria & Ra have a new competitor for producing the best modern Goa Trance!

    S.U.N festival and a small road trip of the Balkans for me (Albania, Montenegro, Croatia). There are 3 or 4 small festivals in Greece this summer but I don't really care about going to any of them, I'd rather spend the weekend at the beach or maybe have some good old commercial hedonism at Mykonos with all the gay ppl.

     

    Maybe Connection in October and I'm definetly going to the annual Twisted reccords event at the end of October. Would love to go to the "Return to the source" 21st Bday at the first of August but flights are too expensive that time of the year.

     

    Cool! I have been to Albania a few years ago. My god what a strange country... Some people had so many balconies on their mega houses that half of the balconies didn't have a door to actually get on it :S

     

    A lot of Psynewsers are thinking about going to Connection. Super! It is going to be a great festival for sure and the last before I take of for India!

     

    Nobody else going to Balkan Goa Fanatics? We should support this festival and the balkan goa artists 100%!

    Anyway so jealous. Winter is starting here in Australia & no festivals. One day I hope these festivals will still be going & although I'll be entering Raja Ram's age range I'd like to attend a few. 55 year olds would be welcome at such gigs yeah?

     

    For sure, I think psytrance has a pretty strong fanbase and I still see new people joining the scene.

    I actually have this one and I guess I paid for it, hahaha! I knew it was super bad, and that is why I wanted to have it. I remember that hilarious promotion video of this album on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbbgTpmWlcI I think I even never listened to it, hihi.

    The new album Deca is supposed to be pretty ok, but I haven't heard it to be honest. I was rather surprised to see it in the Suntrip Records web shop!

    Why is Ozora festival not a good idea for me? I don´t care about the Iphones, I can avoid them. The question is, are there lots of cameras and flashlights?

     

    As I said it think you are a too sensitive person for the chaos that Ozora is. Have you ever been to psytrance festivals?

    Connection Festival, Spain.... in October

     

    Yeah I haven't looked at the line up from SUN that much, but it is looking great! You think Etnica will play oldschool? James Monro - The Untold Story, what is that suppose to mean?

     

    really looking forward to Freqs of Nature

     

    I am also going to Fusion, which keeps its line-up secret. but they always have artists on the psy stage. saw Frogacult there two years ago, totally unexpected. hopefully more good surprises this year

     

    Always wanted to go to Fusion, but every year I forget about that festival until it is to late :P They have that lotto for tickets, right?

     

    I am wondering if I should go to Azura festival in Hungary. I can afford going there and I like the landscape of Hungary. I am just wondering whethere there are flaslights and cameras on a festical, which can irritate my eyes. Otherwise I can imagine going to the festival.

     

    I guess you mean Ozora? I don't think that is the place to be for you radi... It is a huge festival with thousands of people and lot of Iphones, camera's and flashlights. You seem like a too sensitive person to handle this festival. You like Goa, you should go to Balkan Goa Fanatics. It is small, no stress there.

     

    cya there ;) and there isn't much forest on MODEM - some single acts, but it's mainly underground fullon, night- and darkpsy

     

    The cool thing about this festival is that I don't know anything of the line-up. Except for the few forest acts :P See you there, feel free to say hello and share.
