  1. dont let this thread die. and now im being SERIOUS. i just read out jack kerouac's "on the road". to read that book is the perfect way to become totally restless.
  2. haha. pathetic. i wish for your own good that you some day will find a path out of your totally narrow-minded trance-corner. peace!
  3. where is richard d james when you need him.
  4. i noticed one. around the world in a tea daze.
  5. you dont even know yourself? have i missed something or didnt you just said that almost everyone should recognize this song?
  6. what song is the melody from then?
  7. reading your post again says that you were everything but ironic. but whatever. ive lost the energy on you. stick to your banal point of music-viewing. i dont mind.
  8. what artist has he ripped in frisbee?
  9. i noticed that too. still very WEAK, imo.
  10. ha-ha. first of all, its very easy being ironic afterwards. second, has my reaction anything to do with your taunting? no, it doesnt. i cant take anyone serious having that picture of yours. and like i said in my last message, im not the one quote'ing hysterical about things and writing pubertal WOOOOOOHHH's. take care.
  11. yeah. or safety zone. damn that effect-solo or what it is there. i get totally freaked when listening to it. but thats not a guitar. but still. if he does those improvisation-solo's or what it is.. he is a bit of a melodiagenious.
  12. at least im reacting in a respectable way. you are taunting me when you are growling your "oooooohh"s and "wooooow"s, and thats quite enough for me to not discuss this with you.
  13. this god or not-discussion is running in circles. i personally dont care about the samples. but i cant drop the thing that 50 seconds of PACO DE LUCIA is in the song 'around the world in a tea daze'. i mailed simon yesterday. i hope he is going to answer me.
  14. psychadelic there, goa there and hallucinations there bla bla yada yada. ITS MUSIC. an artform. a way to express yourself. its creativity. not just like start furnishing a room to get some kind of mood and feeling.
  15. damn people. you cant discuss melodies in this way. we are all individuals and that means we are being touched by music in totally different ways depending from everything to early childhood to life-experiences as well. what i think is more importent is trying giving music more time and have some patience. because music doesnt always grabbing you at the first time. i think personally that simons sence of melodies and rhythms is not genious, it just fits me and my musical nerves in my body. its just a coincidence. show some respect. we are different. to discuss melodies is one thing. to discuss musical levels is another.
  16. prima materia? or do you mean the selftitled one?
  17. could you please find out which european morning show?
  18. have you noticed the saxophone-trumpet-electroniceffekt-part in dorset perception at 6:00-6:24? its a very good part in the song. i would love to know how and in what way simon has programmed/recorded this. (i know its not him playing, but i want to know if its some friend of his that recorded it together with him, or if he has ripped it) and these questions pomps out in my head about all the rest of shpongle brilliant parts. im in like a shpongle-paranoia. i want the truth.
  19. the trance-music-scene is becoming more and more tiring every day walking by. you dont need pills to make music touch you. you need feelings. or: a punch in the stomach by aphex twin.
  20. very well said. but i hope he has been a bit more careful with paco de lucia-parts at the new album. because they make the most magnificent electronic music on earth. it almost scares me sometimes. and thats probably why people are being so shocked about these samples. they thought simon posford was god. including me. but we were wrong. hes not god. only a electronic musician with a great sence of melodies and rhythms. but i still love them.
  21. im crying now. simon and raja were my heroes. i dont know anymore. can someone please mail this guy and ask him why he has taken one minute 'paco de lucia' into his song? and asura is talking about more samples that "tales" are including. gah, i wish i never read it in the first place. i wish i closed the window and thought to myself "these people are just talking bullshit. simon is earth, and raja is his moon."
  22. good point, Moai. i wish i never heard of these samples. it kills some of my shpongle-magic to. not all of it, but a bit. if simon has made the electronic mixing-solo in 'behind closed eyelids' and 'once upon the sea of blissful' i will forget about the samples totally, because those mixing-solo's are like nothing else. it just blows into my blood. i dont need drugs. ive never tried them. raja and simon beats enough for me.
  23. damn. i just listened to paco de lucia - Introduccion Y Pantomima. simon has ripped like one minute of this song into "around the world in a tea daze". small speaking: this is hurting me bad.. BAD:. GAKHGSDASKLSJAd..
