  1. Ok...apart from the (really - like Astral Projection's "Another World") obvious candidates...

Not sure if always goaish enough, but:

E-Mantra - Pathfinder (Distant Signals omg!)

    Nova Fractal - Fractal Landscape

    MFG - Project Genesis

    Alienapia - Goapocalipsys

    Ra - To Sirius

    Cybernetika - Nanospheric

    Crop Circles - Tetrahedron

    Annunaki - From Nibiru

Psy-H Project - Dance Of Distant Worlds

Definetely not goa enough, but pure space, alien, cold and hostile...Chaotic Synthetics - Transuniverse Express

  2. With the tons of releases today it's easy for an album to get buried under the pile, so in this thread we may shade some light to some of them that deserve more recognition. Please narrow down your selections about albums released between 2010-2013 so we don't have endless lists.

    Dragon-Spirals Of Time

Not entirely unknown, but for its quality vastly underrated. It's cyber-forest psytrance or something.

    Awesome album.

    Alwoods - Aeolian Mode (2011)

Alwoods - Long Life Forest (2013)

Two progressive chill/psybient albums I enjoyed very much, but not many people seem to have taken note of. Highly recommended.

Chaotic Synthetics - Transuniverse Express (2011)

No-bullshit-psy with a particular dark and cold sci-fi atmosphere to it. A bit like some of Cybernetika's stuff imo. Extremely energetic with some nice sci-fi movie voice samples.

Check out how the track transforms at around 3:30...awesome.

  3. I basically don't care if it damages my body or not. I like to drink a whisky in the evening, just because I like it. After writing this post, I will enjoy two episodes of Breaking Bad, accompanied by a glass of whisky. Could be a cold beer as well, or a glass of wine. It may or may not have a positive effect on my health, but it sure has a positive effect on my well-being. I believe in enjoying life, not making it as long-lasting as possible. Having said that, consuming alcohol today could arguably make my life less enjoyable in the future. While I don't believe in that kind of trade off, if it were one, I would gladly do so.

  4. I went to that museum too, it was great and you get to watch an unreleased short.

The only disappointment was that only kids were allowed on the cat-bus

Yeah I got to see "Mei to koneko-basu"...it was great and if I had to make just one really weird wish, I'd opt for my own koneko-basu!

    :D

  5. @abasio

Yeah of course, Ghibli's works are awesome and I agree with you that one should savour them...they're really something special. I've been to the museum in Mitaka and one could really feel the essence of Ghibli's "magic" there, even while eating some cake. I wonder what the Urotsukidoji variant of that cake would look like :D

  6. I always liked Anime, but I'm more into the Sci-Fi ones. I loved Akira, GITS, Saber Rider, Techno Police, Appleseed and stuff like that. Apart from Sci-Fi, I found City Hunter to be hugely entertaining. Back in college, I shared a flat with one of my best friends an we painted the kitchen with some City Hunter graphics...nerdy, but awesome. Vampire Hunter D, Dragonball (and Z), Fist Of The North Star, Ninja Scroll...I really used to watch a lot. Then I somehow lost interest, but recently I found myself browsing youtube for One Piece episodes...pretty good one imo.

Never been a big fan of hentai, but Urotsukidoji is good.

  7. Panoptes, you talk about logic and objectivity but then say that athesits are generaly smarter and are less likely to do crime. That is such a generalisation and has nothing to do with religion. Whether someone is atheist or not has little to do with criminal activity, show me your evidence, that athesists are less liekly to do crime as people who believe in a religion. The only thing atheists don`t do is religious crime, but religion is not meant to be harmful anyway. Even the Islam is not meant to be harmful, it is the interpertation of some extremists that turn this religion in such a shadow and now you claim atheists are less criminal.

It is the other way round; atheists doing more crime as theists because they are colder in thinking. If you´d ask hard criminals if they are atheists or not, most would answer that they are atheists.

    Where's your evidence?
