  1. nope it's not CBL.. Drosophila's "Nervous Ether" was really close.. Should i give it away, as you have gone on already anyways?!
  2. yes, its supposed to be an ether molecule! so... nervous ether is very very close Hint: It's a collaboration of 2 artists, they have only released 1 album together which was released back in 1999 afaik. It's not Nervous but ...........
  3. yes.. last time i had to draw these things is quite some time ago i tried my best to draw it from how it looked on wikipedia, but if someone says its a complete mess i can just take another picture
  4. ok then, i post the next one, as kathmandu seems to be afk
  5. nono.. GBU aka The Good, the Bad and the Ugly was correct.. but then i wanted to post that it's right, and posted under rotwangs post, which was already related to another picture :S so i edited and then messed up everything so, kathmandu, go ahead
  6. OK then, i will show my awesome (!) ms-paint skills and hope you get it will post hints on request...
  7. Only thing i came up with would be "Another green world" but then again.. the blabla doesn't make that much sense... edit: oh wait, it has something to do with communication.. is it "modern talking"?
  8. well... isn't it the outline of goa? it has some similarities... but if so, i wonder what artist.. goa-fish? merr0w - born underwater?
  9. I'm not sure if this was asked before, but I'd like to have a rating section in the reviews, that readers can adjust. So atm the first reviewer gives away the star-rating that is displayed in the thread title, but it doesn't refer to what the people are thinking. I'd like it a lot more if each reader (logged in user) could give away his own rating, as you can do on youtube etc. then the average rating is displayed in the title. that would make the titles less subjective. for example the infected mushroom album vicious delicious in 2007 got a 1/5 star rating from its first reviewer, but that may not be what most people think. still your first impression is like "wow, this gotta be shitty" and you start out being biased about it. so, as i said, maybe this has been asked for earlier and if so, i want to re-point it out again =) thx for reading and have a nice day
  10. yeah i also think that this is an important point. especially as twisted isnt running that well in terms of financial issues. still i dont think that neither simon nor raja would take a loss in quality just to save some money.
  11. someone on the twistedforum also complained about the sound quality of ineffable mysteries.. but simon said that they hired a mixing guy who had 35 years of experience and that it was intended to sound like that. give me some time and i will post a link to that thread on twistedforum. still i personally like the cd and its sound.
  12. well.. i think you can definitely hear how si's work with benji has influenced him and i think there are parts in this album that remind of younger brother. i believe that this might come from the use of analog instruments. so i can understand how people think that it might sound a bit younger brother'ish but then again.. why not, it still got its shpongley style to it... and in my opinion it IS deeper than you may think in the beginning, it just needs some more intensive listening and then you will find the many melodies and sounds and glitches that surround the main-stream of the tracks - i am still deeply in love with it =)
  13. yeah, i can definitely see how people think it sounds some kind of like younger brother and i also got the feeling that simon worked a lot more on this one than raj did. when i read the booklet i got the feeling that most of the ideas came from si, while raj mostly is named in combination with the flute.. not that i think he did that much more on the previous shpongle albums, but this time raj really got into the background i think. but to me this is not bad at all and it definitely IS different from the previous ones - but it sounds good =) lots of love for details and lots of stuff going on in the background etc.. so, yes it could also be a hallucinogen album somehow, but he's the musical genius anyway in my opinion...
  14. hmm could you express a little more what you mean with that? cuz i dont think it has anything of "psytrance" at all, except for the last half of I am You and the last track there is no real 4 to the floor kickdrum... in fact i think the first two albums had more tracks that could come close to your expression.. just wondering what psytrance is to be found in this one?! as for the album, i love it, yet some it needs some time to get into (but then again, not very many albums are so open that you'd fall in love with them instantly). got it on their show last weekend and its playing ever since. love "Ineffable Mysteries", "I am You" and "Invisible Man in a fluorescent Suit" the most.
