  1. well i can say that only now i see and noticed of this follow option stuff, infact i didn't know about this option until now, usualy in the facebook is my main work, and in the soundcloud i know less about their options,& i use it mostly to upload the music, but all in all thanks for noticing,it's important, starting to use this option as well :)

It's cool man , just wanted to know that from you. :)

Keep up and all the best with your music .

  2. Wow. I really, really am digging your last two tracks. Most definitely my favorite of your work so far. It's exciting to hear someone explore this path on the old-school vibe and finally create something that's not the same old over-the-top, super-layered, heavily melodic morning sound. No goofy artificial cheesy builds, no silly 4-bar yawn-inducing breakdowns to break the trance, just killer groove with subtle psychedelia. Fantastic.

I'm very interested to hear where you move in this direction, please do keep it up, and thank you for these!

Moai , Psybro and Marsh , thanks guys.

To be honest time went by and i got older (lol) so i now dig other type of things , more into the drum & rhythm than mostly dropping lots and lots of super 'euphoric' layered melodies. I actually thought that nobody would dig this because could be tagged as 'simple' or something , but again i always did what i feel and if people like it , well that's awesome!

I'm quite happy to see that you guys enjoyed the groove , that suprised me for sure.

Lately i've been writing mostly Acid Techno , 2 tracks are up there if you guys wanna give them a listen.

Thanks very much for checking these out and for the kind feedback . :)

  3. thank you guys :)

keep it up with "emotion in motion" :)

    cheers everyone,and stay tune !!

C'mon Elad 93 followers over Soundcloud and you are not following anybody? I know that you like to follow yourself but don't you think that this is a bit egocentric?

    Good music nevertheless.

  4. Thanks to the recent article in Computer Music Magazine, I had to revisit this compilation so that I could listen once again to Amithaba Buddhas track: Obsidian Stones. I am not sure as to why, but when I initially heard this track it didn´t capture my attention, this time I decided to give it a proper listen. And yeah it´s a lovely track, very much in the same vein as Lost In Paradise, but a bit more mysterious, very nicely composed! Gotta love the kick drum :D

    Thank you Diaks. :)
  5. Thank you all for sharing these great experiences.

First time i have listened to Jarre was at the Planetarium and i was a little boy , no idea that it was Jarre.

But certainly when me and my class we all got out of the Planetarium , everybody was singing the song.

I only have discovered Jarre's work later on when i was in the 7th grade.

Went to a colleague's place and i found this Oxygene cd.

First time i heard it i fell for it just because of the fact it was only an instrumental and i love instrumentals and everybody must know that here :) .

And here is the song that played over at the Planetarium @ Lisbon many years ago:

  6. Wavs have been lost by hd crash :(

So it will never be more than a mp3 release...

As Digitoxin just stated most of the old work has been lost due to hdcrash.

I was much younger at the time and i never had the chance to get a better computer to produce the material i produced at the time.

Most of this old work was produced under a 600mhz Pentium 2 and i had several problems with it.

The release which will be about to be out it's something i played Live in Belgium if i remember well.

Most of it was recorded on a CD in Wav format , so i'm positive that Phototropic will do it's best to offer the best quality to the public.

  7. it was a joke buddy, just like you

you honestly think i'm preaching mastering here on the forum like i do and do not know that an mp3 sounds less than a wave?? HA HA HA *points and laughs*

best joke ever from you, after the pandemonium full album

i think i'll have another listen to 'crusade ep'

That was truly unecessary and childish.

You are certainly unable to establish a conversation.

Also your free services are not required here as you just offered me in through a PM you just sent me.

    Take care.

  8. Hi Draeke (and anyone else with a slight interest).

Not much going on. I have decided to put the Colorbox project on ice. Too busy with other music stuff (not to mention a wife, full time job and soon I'll have three little girls here as well (the third one coming in late October - early November).

I managed to produce three new Colorbox tracks that were never really finished.

One good thing happened since my last post though; my brother René and I are now speaking again. You might remember us having some family issues - but now we have started seeing eachother again and speaking on a regular basis.

Here's a recent picture (about a month old) of the both of us. I am the fat bald guy with glasses on the right - and the one on the left is René :-)

    AMAZING news Ken.

Thank you very much for sharing all these great news with us.

Lovely picture and your brother is still holding the beer and you with the PPG Waldorf T-Shirt ;)!

All of my best wishes to you all.

    /Filipe

PS: Hope you still remember me from the most successful Pyramidal Transcedence compilation which you so kindly mastered.

    Thank you very much.
