  13. Vataff Project - Kalitz (AlephZ09) Release Date: May 19th, 2008 E-flyer with free track for download: http://www.aleph-zero.info/media/AlephZ09/...VataffFlyer.htm It's not often that a label can say it is releasing something that sounds like nothing ever made. With the release of Vataff Project's Kalitz, Aleph Zero is proud to say just that. Welcome to the dark mysterious forests of Bulgarian musician Victor Marinov's mind. In the age of instant hit tracks we invite you to an 80 minutes long journey out of this world. Arranged as one piece like in Vataff Project's live sets, Kalitz offers a true album experience. The project has its own distinct sound, although it contains elements of psychedelic techno, IDM, trip hop & ambient, occasionally incorporating traditional Bulgarian instruments. Vataff's music is like nothing you've ever heard and it engulfs you in thick psychedelic atmosphere with alien sounds that sucks you into another world from the first note. Track list: 1. Orpheus Forest 2. Inner Beauty 3. Plasticine Bird (album edit) 4. Kalitz 5. Patayasa 6. Mist 7. Dvabrakia 8. Utc 9. Orale Release page is here: http://www.aleph-zero.info/AlephZ09release.html It is available online at: http://cdbaby.com/cd/vataffproject (USA & Canada) http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/ale/ale1cd009.html (Europe) http://www.saikosounds.com/english/display...ase.asp?id=7252 (Japan, Asia & Australia) http://techno.to/detail/coming.php?cat_no=ALEPHZ09 (Japan) iTunes link: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore...istId=264947972 And also through Aleph Zero: http://www.aleph-zero.info/shop.html In addition beautiful high quality print posters are available here: http://www.aleph-zero.info/shopp.html
  14. A short update: Check this amazing live video from Shulman's latest live show at the Comfort 13 club in Tel-Aviv, Israel (together with Ozric Tentacles). It'll give you a feel of the amazing new live show. This is a live version of the remix to Ya Bouy by Omar Faruk Tekbilek & Steve Shehan. Also check photos from the show at Shulman's myspace profile: http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...albumID=1679794 Plus, here are some of quotes from the reviews on the album: "[A] lush and beautiful soundscape that combines the rich natural sounds of traditional Semitic instruments with pure synthesis. Every second implants the listener with images of the most amazing natural wonders and emotions, enveloping them in an aural paradise. The disparate elements of the songs merge so seamlessly that you're left without question that the composers are true musical masters. ..Endless Rhythms of the Beatless Heart is what every ambient lover dreams of, with all of the emotion and intensity intact. ..It's the very soul of ambience, the musical embodiment of serenity and utter bliss." 5/5 stars - Ethnotechno.com "The true measure of Shulman's success with Endless Rhythms of the Beatless Heart [is] in that he's synthesized the global experiences of the last thirty years into an endlessly evolving mix that ignores all borders. This is the soundtrack of the global citizen. " - Igloo Magazine (USA) "Once again Shulman and Aleph Zero deliver more than what the expectative demanded. I have listened to this album many times, and still this attempt to review it seems quit poor compared to the complexity of the music presented here. Respect!... Definitely one of the must have releases of the year, something that I will still be listening to 10 years from now." - www.isratrance.com (Israel) "Endless Rhythms Of The Beatless Heart" is [like a] beautiful eclectic collection of flowers picked up from the meadow called the art of the music and... proudly presented to us by Omri Harpaz and Yaniv Shulman." 5/5 stars. - psybient.net (Poland) "..arguably [shulman's] most accomplished album to date... New listeners & fans of Shulman alike will not be disappointed." - BPM Magazine (South Africa) "Shulman is back with more spaced-out big beats over which sounds of fracturing crystals and mournful laser beams sum up our surreal, deep and harmonious lives. ...Give yourself a... treat and pick up this album."- Haight Ashbury Beat (USA) “All this fusion created one of the most interesting albums made here.” - Layla Magazine (Israel) E-flyer: http://www.aleph-zero.info/media/AlephZ08/...ulman4Flyer.htm

  20. Hi all, Thanks for all your comments- we really appreciate it and try to follow and read your thoughts. Well Charlie, I won't of course say anything about your opinion about the music itself of Shulman's last album, I totally respect it, and we will take it into consideration and hope to get better from it, as we try to do with all responses we get from people who listen to our music and comment. However a few objective facts I can and want to comment on: 1. Shulman's last album was called "Random Thoughts" and not Entheogenic. 2. As the name suggests (on purpose), as it is written on the album's cover and in the release notes, and as Abasio kindly explained it was not really an artist album per se, but more of an artist compilation that collected different projects of various nature together. Experimental stuff, remixes, one time collaborations etc. There is no direction on purpose- it's Random Thoughts. 3. Shulman wanted to share that music with their fans, and from most of the comments we got and from sales, they were pretty happy with it. You have to remember that a lot of Aleph Zero listeners are not trance people who follow every single release and most of them were not aware of the remixes, for example. Hope you like the new album. I personally think it is revolutionary, as I wrote in the release notes, but I might be biased. Cheers & have a great weekend, all! Shahar @ Aleph Zero.

  23. We're happy to let you know that the CD is doing really well, and great feedbacks are pouring in! Here are some quotes from some of the reviews coming in: " This really is a late night dive for the soul.... Midnight Soul Dive is very recommended and among the better chillout compilations of 2007 floating high above their peers." - Calmscape (Sweden) "This latest compilation from Aleph Zero Records presents the more ambient side of the label - twelve tracks of subtle synthetic beauty that twist and hang in the air like sonic incense. Big names in the world of downtempo chill appear alongside less well known artists - all so closely united here in vision that this could be a single artist release - yet the diverse personalities each offer a unique viewpoint on this midnight excursion." - Morpheus Music (UK) "[This] musical trip escorts our imagination from quite light electronic downtempo beats up to pure Ambient. Here sounds and tones melt in pure harmony and skilful disharmony." - Mushroom Magazine (Germany) "Aleph Zero Records once again delivers the unexpected with their new compilation Midnight Soul Dive... Here we have more than 75 minutes of music distributed between 12 previously unreleased electronic chillers, each of them delivering something special and different, and together they assemble a huge and uncompromised nighttime lullaby. Highly recommended." - Isratrance.com (Israel) "The new compilation from Aleph Zero... is a peaceful musical experience. Meditation lovers- you have something to work with!" - Layla Magazine (Israel) There's also an interview with Aleph Zero's DJ Shahar where he discusses the latest releases and future plans that you might wanna check out: http://www.fullonline.net/archives/2007/06...aleph.html#more
