  1. It really depends on my mood what I search for in music.

    For example:

I have a love/hate relationsship with the darker side of psystrance.

In the wrong mood I think what is this crap? Why did I add it to my playlist in the first place?

But sometimes it thrills me to null my brain with those ever twisting and morphing sounds.

With "mood" I don't refer to drugs.

  2. I just re-read my previous statement.

Can't believe I was disappointed at first, lol

I was missing out so much details with my cheap sound rig.

    This has changed now.

I'm in love with this album and still play it from time to time

and it's definately among my fav top5 ambient albums.

It really helps me calm down my soul.

  3. I think the term darkpsy also works for fast, hard and chaotic music.

As for the album. I definately like parts of it.

For me it's not everyday music. I listen to it rarely.

Sometimes though it feels like work reaching or waiting for the sweet spots in the tracks.

edit: Just wanted to mention that technically this album is damn amazing sounding. Crystal clear, razor sharp and banging.

Benefits alot from a good sound system.

  4. I don't know his previous efforts.

For me this album works best in a special mood,

because of it's quite slow pace.

Like when I'm tired and just want to relax and may have a nap.

Then it keeps me in a comfortable state between sleep and daydreaming.

It definately did grow on me. At the first listen I was a bit disappointed.
