Dj Shankar (Chronos Project) aka Nick Klimenko from Russia was only 20 years old when discovered by Sunline Records. His musical background and love for Nature immediately made them soul mates and an agreement to release “Steps to the Great Knowledge” was born a few days after.

Nick was definitely inspired by Mayan culture and used several oriental music instruments to make this album.

ARTIST PROFILE:
Chronos is an ambient music project from talented 21 years old musician & producer Nick Klimenko (aka dj Shankar) from Moscow, Russia.
The Idea to create chillout and ambient in a musical sphere was born in early 2002.
Chronos paths between ambient/ethnic influences and chillout/trance vibrations
The word Chronos from ancient Greek language translates like ‘Time’.
The project not only brings a musical way...it also brings graphics and mind influence combined in one big source of information – “The Great Knowledge”.
“And the way to reach it is to go step by step, those we are making day by day”.
By getting more knowledge about this electronic subculture and after collecting a lot of CD’s and information about it, Chronos music becomes deeper and more emotional for him, much more harmonic and stylistic than psytrance.
Later he started to experiment with atmospheres, going on many interesting festivals, parties, djing chillout sets, playing sometimes live instruments, etc.
Since that time the idea of creating a full ambient album was strongly attached in his mind.
After having traveled a lot around Russia and other countries, buying equipment, setting up “TIMEWORKS” studio and getting more knowledge in esoteric and religion, paranormal activities, geographic, modern technologies, all those aspects combined in the way of his life path and in a new musical creation experience...
…project was finally born!
He was also influenced by some really magical and talented musicians and bands like: Asura, Aes Dana, Carbon Based Lifeforms (C.B.L.), Aural Planet, Healer, Solar Fields, Enigma, Simon Posford, Entheogenic, Cell, M-Sphere.
Nick is resident of Spliff Music, Israel.
Working on two trance projects - Hologram/Secret Trick.
On a more morning trance, and melodic & groovy style.
He also gives a radio show "Fly Before Dream" on Sunwave radiostation with dj Siniquichi as partner for the main chillout radio cast in Moscow/Russia -

Artist Profile:
History of Lucy in Space with Diamonds and Dj-Lazar.
The man behind the L.S.D. Project is Lazar Silvergren. Born in 1969. Based in Stockholm/Sweden.
The music interest started in early age, Lazar's first musical experience was as a singer in a local rock band, there after he started with more mainstream music.
The first release was in 1985, a 12"maxi on Tony Boy records. He was only 16 years old. Lazar wanted to explore the hottest music styles so he started to produce music with names like Dennis Pop, Peter Swartling, Anders Bagge (Madonna) Andreas (Fritz The Dog).
In 1990 he started to listen to the project “KLF" which was the start for the
electronic side of his music making.
Lazar started to produce electronic music in 1994 and the first performance as a professional psytrance dj was in 1996 in Copenhagen/Denmark, alongside the artists Sheiba, Miranda, Elysium, Jean Borelli. Lazar and Miranda produced the Miranda album "Real Rush"(Distance Rec/Fra) and 12" Space Baby (Mash Rec /Ger).
Lazar released his first album/cd "Emerald City"in 2003 as Lucy in Space with Diamonds. Before that he´s been featured on different compilations and co-producing. Mostly he performed as DJ. The second album/cd "Lazar in Person" was a more experimental adventure which is a different and more progressive style compared to "L.S.D.".
Lazar is one of the biggest and oldest artists in the underground scene. A
world renowned and respected DJ and producer, Lazar has performed alongside artists like. Paul Oakenfold, Man with no name, Astral Projection, GMS, Hallucinogen, X-Dream, Planet Ben, Max Reich, Scooter, ATB, and many more.

The audience feedback was great until now from people whom had the chance to have a promo-listening and I'm not surprised that June, CHI a.d and Aes Dana are the main spots, but to me Khetzal also delivered a wonderful piece of art, Master Margherita a very nice slow start filled with great easter vibes and Azriel and Goasia didn't failed in their composition skills!
To clear things up, here is the english traduction from Indi of what Champa Devi Shukia says at the end of my track (which is dedicated to Bhopal disaster's victims of 1982):
"Dow and other corporations are causing slow and silent Bhopals all over the world.
Mothers everywhere in the world carry chemical poisons in their breasts.
The Bhopal tragedy is a symbol of the cruelty of corporations against humanity.

After a long topic concerning Peace Therapy 2, Zen, can you give us some news about the pure planet 2 compilation? There is a long time that I haven't heard something new or progress about it. Is there any problem with Kagdila records? Always compilations are postponed. What's going on?
Well yes v/a's are so often postponed but there's not problems really, the thing is that Goa v/a's don't sell better than any dark or full-on ones and to pay artists we need: $$$ or good arrangments.
Yes! so its a matter of keeping people informed that a new V.2 will born sometime and when all is settled with artists, we need to master and make cover.
Then sending all to the press and wait.
It could take 1 to 2 years before having a release out all in all.
I'm also sad about that but we unfortunately can't do what we'd like each time, we need patience and still work hard to deliver what we announce.
Actually we're so happy to put any new project on place that we can't wait to announce it..!
And I rekon this could be long time to wait for Goa lovers as they just wait while we're working on it and don't see the time flying!!
We're trying to rise Kagdila at a good level of production and improve after each release out within our abilities

I'm still the designer but I've changed a lot and improved (well, I think
).Since 2002 I did many different covers such as Nexus one or for the 3 next Kagdila forthcoming cd's which are much on the "darker" side...Khetzal's was made of fresh and positive energies as well as any Avigmatic's (Positive Alchemists) ones..I'm balancing myself from deep dark explorations to the freshest plans...Life is a balance, I think.You seems to like fractals? You may be happy with Avigmatic's Vol.2 if they accept to put the one I did recently onto inside flaps =)
what I'd really like to know is if the Chi-A.D. track is some old unreleased stuff or if Chi-A.D. has started making new stuff again..

Dave made 3 new deep full-on trax just before christmas...He told me he doesn't have much time for music as his new 3D company takes all his energies...
These trax are not sounding as it uses in the past but they're sounding actual and great.They're waiting for a label...Maybe one will be signed on Kagdila for a new v/a compiled by Azriel and me end of 2006.
You're right ProSect! Any new track from Chi-a.d., because "Fluid cluster" and "Awakenings" (from Lifeforce E.P.) seems to be the same tracks.
I'll check this out now, I'm curious!!
"Fluid Cluster" is not supposed to be the same as "Awakenings". 'cuz Dave haven't a name ready for this track, he had to think about it for months before I got it!

BIG thanx to everyone for your words, I hope the cd will please even if it was supposed to be out a year ago !!!We had a very hard time to release it, a lot of delays and I feel now it's out 2 years too late!!! hehe
Anyway, the pleasure to make all this is still there and it's the most important...I do releasing cd's for this pleasure of pure creativeness and even if Kagdila is not appreciated very much on this scene, we're trying to make it real and improve when possible...Cd industry is exiting as well as full of predators...Not easy but funny and 100% creative!
