1. @ journey man...

if u think everything sucks maybe u should look elsewhere for music...

we don't need people with ur attitude anyway... u are so hateful and disrespect artists and people alike...

just reading ur posts i can tell u r a very angry and unhappy person... but it's no reason to take it on other people...

so have fun away from this place, i hope u have so much fun that u never come back...

  2. it's happened to me too recently...

this might be due to the fact that many releases are easier to digest nowadays than a few years back, when albums told a real stories, and the musical side of things was stronger than the production side as is the case nowadays...

do like people suggested... listen to something else for a while, then u can come back to it refreshed and u'll appreciate it more....

  3. I got no problem with what people listen to. Its their choice. BUT I got  a problem with artists like Eskimo who clearly take the crap out of people when he accept to have his name on a flyer saying he play live and then he stand on a stage like another "David Hasselhof" wannabe without any form of live playing at all.

He is a circus clown and yes people are to damn fucked on drugs to even get it. Some like his music and do not do drugs (if i had to guess its very few). Fair enough. But let's be honest now.  Is his performance adaptable to the idea that people go to a party to dance and get into the music?

To me alleycat hit the nail when he/she contradicted him/herself by saying that "it's not a rock show, or a symphony"

Its exactly what Eskimo turn it into (and let's not forget Skazi and IM too here).

A rock concert "come and see me I am a mega super star and you all worship me".

As I said i rarely see anyone dance to such Mega rave shows. They all stand like it was a rock concert and look at the artists on stage (Eskimo, Skazi, IM etc.).

At least when you go to a rock concert you can be sure that the band actualy play live and have a talent to play an instrument ;)

So when I make fun of Ginger Boy & Co.  it's not because of their music (even though i find it to be crap and nothing to do with the concept of trance).  It's their attitude and Diva performances I make fun of.  And they deserve it all!

    word...

    i completely agree with u ...

  4.  the only full on that sounds remorely like that is some Hujaboy stuff and his first album was techtrance, as was his releases as Boo Reka... I think noboidy is responsible... what a dumb ass word to use.. it makes it sound like they did somethings wrong... just because you don't enjoy something does not make it something bad  ;)

once again u need to take a deep breath before u post dude...

there is no need to be aggressive like that...

maybe i used the wrong word (responsible) but for ur info i love that xdream album and there is a lot of full on i like, i was merely answering the point that was made about logic bomb being the ones who made the full on bassline popular...

so mate go smoke some or whatever makes u feel better and come back when u r refreshed...

  5. I don't remember hearing the infamous 16th-note bassline before Headware. I might be imagining this.

    582690

i think x-dream is more responsible for bringing the full-on basslines...

they were the first to have huge basslines as well...

listen to radio album for ex... which came out a few years before logic bomb's headware...

and yes there is some full-on that i like... for ex altom, silicon sound, older talamasca etc etc...

  6. FP has a point...

raja ram probably did more on shpongle thatn most people around here give him credit for... he brings ideas and is a good musician... look what he did with 1200 mics, u can clearly see his input on the first album...

ok there r drug samples but if u look at it from a musical standpoint u can tell that he helped a lot with the musical side of things...

and yes people in this forum are very biased towards simon p.... he is no god imo...

  7. i think another major pb is it's so easy to make music nowadays...

anyone can try cause it's getting cheaper and cheaper...

and then of course this scene has never been about professionalism, so many people want to release their friend's trax, or wanna be "cool" and connected cause they own a label and know people in the scene, and all this drags the standard quality down... and it's only gonna get worse imo...

  8. you misunderstood what i have written.

excuse me if i didnt made it clear!

you said smth abaout "cheesy full-on crap" and that was the point that i ment,

i also wrote that i dont mean u in particular.

i mean a big part from the scene.

i didnt want to displease you!!!

    sorry if i did!!!!!

you think you can forgive me?

    575215

    no hard feelings mate...

    maybe i overreacted...

  9. oh so i can't say how i feel about the psy scene b/c u don't agree??

if u can't handle people's opinions that are different than urs don't look at these topics...

i have been listening to psytrance since 1999, and at first there were many good albums..

    but now things have changed...

and no i don't like dark trance at all...

there are still tracks or albums that i like (latest vibrasphere comes to mind)

but like overdose said i am listening more to other styles of music these days..

cause every time i check new releases on saikosounds i get disappointed...

after a while it's discouraging when u see the amount of crap that's being released...
